My daughter used this LHJ Adult maroon hooded robe as the main piece for her Master Splinter (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) Halloween costume and it was perfect! The deep rich red color, long flowing length, and attached hood gave her that exact wise old rat sensei look from the movies. It draped beautifully and stayed in place the whole night — even with all the trick-or-treating and ninja moves. Paired with the long white beard/mustache we got earlier, the full outfit looked authentic and awesome. It was lightweight, comfortable, and easy for her to move around in without tripping or getting too hot. If you’re putting together a TMNT group costume or just need a great hooded robe for Master Splinter (or any monk/robe character), this one is spot-on. I used this robe for my Scythe cosplay, and it was perfect. The robe is a bit see-through, so if you want this to be warm, don't count on it. I got a large, and it fit perfectly, so you don't need to get a size bigger or smaller. Overall, it is worth it for the price, and it works amazingly.
