I am not a silk snob or expert. I’m sure there are other expensive luxury brands out there that are better for $60 plus a pop each. These cases are well made, have held up well, and didn’t cost a fortune. They are soft as silk should be. (Comparing to my silk scarves I got from France) The description on Amazon says they are 6a mulberry silk, (which is good) charmuese weave (good) 22 Momme, (also good) but it does not say specifically say 100% mulberry silk so there is a good possibility there could be something else mixed in with the silk. If so it would be very little, as I have not noticed it, and I’m comparing it to the Blissy cases everyone raves about. The label inside the case lists it as 6a silk, but does not say 100% mulberry. This is is the second set of cases from this company I have ordered. The first set went on guest bed, and new set is for me. Everyone appears to be very particular with their care. Well guess what? I have washed AND dried these in my washing machine/dryer with cold water and using low heat. They have survived just fine in the year I’ve had them. In fact I think it’s made them even softer. Does this mean I am shortening their life span? Maybe, but at 19.99 each I’m not worried about it. Is my face and hair happier? Yes. Definitely no more bed head or face creases. For this price point I think they are an excellent choice. I don’t expect sheets and pillow cases to last forever, 7 - 9 years is a good life span. I think these will do that just fine. Edit: after washing and sleeping on the 2 cases I ordered, something did not seem right. (I had not slept on the first set I bought for guest room) The fabric seemed off - even if it’s a blend. For the price I expected a blend and not 100% silk - however these slept very hot and not as comfortable as a case that would be mostly silk. The description is very careful to say 23 momme , 6a quality, and mulberry silk. It does not however say 100% mulberry silk, nor does the label inside the case say anything about mulberry silk. It only says “finest grade 6a silk.” The reason I am disappointed is when I did a burn test there was no ash or smell like other silk I have had. It immediately formed one solid melted blob. I take this as proof there is a lot more polyester in them than the description led me to believe. I can’t return them now, so will have to cough up more if I want silk (or at least mostly silk cases.) I should have done my homework. Good Housekeeping rated PROMEED silk cases as a best buy, and although only 19 momme ZimaSilk is rated by several reputable sources as a best budget (inexpensive) buy. I stand by what I said that I think Blissy is over priced compared to other brands that are as good or even superior. Blissy was mentioned mainly for hair. Fishers Finery came up consistently for a very overall quality silk pillow and you can find it starting at $40.

I was not expecting this pillowcase to have the thickness and high quality silk that it has for the reasonable price it comes with. I like the nice smooth, high quality silk that is kind to my hair and skin. It doesn't sleep hot like satin. The nice tucked away hidden zipper at one end is perfect. My pillow is quite thin and of memory foam, so I cannot tell you if this pillowcase will fit a thick fluffy pillow. There is a couple or so inches of fabric left along each edge where my pillow doesn't fill out the pillowcase completely out, so maybe. Anyway, don't sleep on this one. I have been enjoying it, however I have not washed it yet. I will wash it in a zippered lingerie bag to protect it. Mine is light blue, which is not a bright color, but a more subtle shade.

I normally sleep with a bonnet on but sometimes it so easy to forget so I still have silk pillowcases. I still wake up frizz free!! This was the perfect size and I really like that it zips and it’s not a pocket pillow case. The weight of the pillow case is nice, the material is thin so I can still feel my cool side pillow. As great as the product is i tried to go with the color that would suite my sheets and bedding the best but the one I received is pretty much white. I kept it because it doesn’t look terrible and does the job just wished the lighter colors were a little bit easier to tell because according to the picture it should pretty much match my sheets ( might be a shade off). Overall the product is great.

I originally wanted a silk pillowcase for it's hair and skin benefits. I heard that silk pillowcases help prevent wrinkles, frizziness, and split ends. Now, I haven't noticed a difference in my hair and skin health, however my quality of sleep has greatly improved. My pillow always feels cool. Due to the silk's moisture wicking properties, I no longer wake up hot or sweaty. It fits my pillow perfectly! I'm able to tuck the zipper inside the case, so it does not poke out or disturb my sleep. I wash it on a gentle cycle in a delicates garment bag and have not had any issues with its durability. I highly recommend this pillow case!

I just cannot sleep on cotton pillowcases. My head gets too hot, so the silk has helped keep me cooler and when it feels warm, I just flip the pillow over. Lots of lovely colors from which to choose. I launder it in a mesh bag on the gentle cycle.

Great comfortable pillow case...I tried to use it with my wife's white sheets. I'm now banned from the bedroom as the pillow case "blue" rubbed off onto the "white sheets". It would work fine on darker sheets.
