These are nice boots. The leather is really soft and they really didn't need any break in. They look and feel well made. The Goodyear sole means they could be resoled if necessary. While they don't look like a cowboy boot, they are narrow at the toes, but not pointy, and have a high heel. They are wider at the ball of the foot. If you like cowboy boots, but need something that doesn't scream, " I'm from Texas" these would be great. My problem with them is that I don't like the narrow toe-box and the heels are beveled; The are smaller at the bottom, which gives me problems as I pronate when I walk. I guess I'm more of a Wellington guy! Also, if the color is important, these are a sort of reddish brown which the photos don't quite match. ... show more

Great boot if you like a western style heel and rubber soles very soft leather. Only thing I needed was a insole for a little more cushion. Have used in the yard, watering, irritating and general day to day chores. I use a boot cream to keep in good shape. Easy to keep clean. Like it’s a water proof boot. Have had for 3 weeks and put them through a real test. Great boot and the price will save you big bucks if you look at a Wolverine or big brand name boot. ... show more

This boot looks good, is as well made as boots costing much more, nice leather, and is really comfortable. I wanted to give it a 5 star rating, but can’t due to one major issue. It’s not as described. The description when you order says it’s a black boot. It’s a nice looking brownish/reddish color, but I ordered black boots. Seems somebody else did the same thing and left a 1 star rating which brings the total star average to a 4. I’m not going to ding the boot with a 1, but seriously, how hard is it to change the description on Amazon? And if the manufacturer is reading this review here’s something else you need to do. You don’t need to stamp Water Resistant Oil Tanned Leather on the top part of the shaft. Instead take the silly logo for Ad Tec off the side of the heel and move it to the top part of the shaft. You might think the heel is a good place for advertising, but did it ever occur to you that most people don’t want to advertise that they bought a cheap (in price not in quality) boot that most people have never heard of? I’d rather it be my little secret. So in short, I’m keeping these boots because I like them. But get some black boots or change your Amazon description. If you do get some actual black boots I might buy another pair. 😉 ... show more

Very nice boot for the price. They are not adorned with any decorations: flags, guns, curly-Q stitching, ostrich dimples, snake scales, or other ridiculous nonesense. Just good quality leather. They remind me of the roper boots that the real cow-pokes in Oklahoma wore when I was growing up. Not the stuff seen in the local wanna-be honky-tonk on Saturday night. I already have 3 pair of these boots All are brown boot. No worrirs The boot itself is very well Made 100 % leather. They fit well and They didnt need extra support. They fit Snug. The upper part of the boots Dont sag. These boots compare with Double H boots. I have a set of Double H Also have one pair of Red Wings boots. These Ad Tec are just as Good. As i said they are well made boots. These boots deserve a 5 no matter the color I can have them dyed black if want Black boots. They are also a great price And can be repaired if need getting ready To order pair #4. They are a great price ... show more

Bought these boots to wear on a working ranch. Walk 3-6 miles per day in them. They are comfortable and durable and always look great. Surprisingly water resistant. Fit is as expected. Love them!

The top does not stand up as shown in photo. It is floppy leather. The fit of the boot was too narrow in certain areas. If I had to use this boot I would get the wide version but the soft floppy leather is hard to put on and would not provide as much thorn or snake protection as a stiff leather in Texas ranch country. ... show more
