This boot looks good, is as well made as boots costing much more, nice leather, and is really comfortable. I wanted to give it a 5 star rating, but can’t due to one major issue. It’s not as described. The description when you order says it’s a black boot. It’s a nice looking brownish/reddish color, but I ordered black boots. Seems somebody else did the same thing and left a 1 star rating which brings the total star average to a 4. I’m not going to ding the boot with a 1, but seriously, how hard is it to change the description on Amazon? And if the manufacturer is reading this review here’s something else you need to do. You don’t need to stamp Water Resistant Oil Tanned Leather on the top part of the shaft. Instead take the silly logo for Ad Tec off the side of the heel and move it to the top part of the shaft. You might think the heel is a good place for advertising, but did it ever occur to you that most people don’t want to advertise that they bought a cheap (in price not in quality) boot that most people have never heard of? I’d rather it be my little secret. So in short, I’m keeping these boots because I like them. But get some black boots or change your Amazon description. If you do get some actual black boots I might buy another pair. 😉

Overall, these boots are quite comfortable. The upper part of the boot is a bit flimsy and lacks the structural firmness I’ve experienced with other Wellingtons. However, given their cost, the flimsiness is tolerable.

I wanted to love these, but sizing was an issue for me. I initially bought size 12 which was a little snug in the toe box but more of an issue was that they were too long. So I had too much movement in the heel area. Ok, no problem - let's go down to an 11.5 wide. Nope. Length was good but for a "wide" they felt extremely narrow around the toe box and arch. Ultimately, I had to return both pairs.

The shaft is a bit un sturdy, like it doest stay up on its own. Which makes it a bit hard to put on. But the heels are hard and bold and you can hear them from a mile away. These are worth the price. Nothing much better than this at this price range.

Great boot if you like a western style heel and rubber soles very soft leather. Only thing I needed was a insole for a little more cushion. Have used in the yard, watering, irritating and general day to day chores. I use a boot cream to keep in good shape. Easy to keep clean. Like it’s a water proof boot. Have had for 3 weeks and put them through a real test. Great boot and the price will save you big bucks if you look at a Wolverine or big brand name boot.
