I took from just before noon til just after three to assemble by myself, while making lunch, bathing and dressing kiddo, and dropping off and picking up from preschool, so it would have been quicker if I was able to focus on only assembling. Easy directions to follow. Seems sturdy enough, I am 170 pounds and climb up in the bed with my kiddo (40 pounds) to read bed time stories and snuggle to sleep. The light is great because he is afraid of the dark and it is dimmable and has a timer. We just leave it on 24/7. He does not hang out in the play area as often as I imagined he would, he hit his head once, I think I will get pool noodles to put around the edges. He has fallen out of my bed before, and I am confident the railing is high enough to keep him from falling off this bed. I did put a piece of stiff foam (from a floor mat we have had that I cut to fit under the bed, the other half is under the mattress) between the mattress and bed rails because I thought they looked a little too far apart and I so I figured I have it available and would be a little extra support for the mattress. So happy with this purchase!! The instructions are clear and al the parts are labeled. All parts were included. We placed a 6 inch mattered in and had plenty of rail space. The drawers are nice size and the height is not too high where you have to worry. My child loves playing underneath.

For the price this bed is great!! My brother came over yesterday and helped me put it together. It took him about 1.5-2 hours. My son slept on it just fine last night. There’s plenty of storage and it’s big enough under the bed that I can get under there with him as well.

Easy to assemble and looks exactly as advertised. All the assembly uses pre-machined holes and two of the holes weren’t machined right which made my life hell for an hour. The thought of returning it for another (and having to disassemble and reassemble a new one) crossed my mind but was too painful to follow through so I figured it out and made the bad holes work. ... show more

This bed is perfect for my 5-year-old! Super cute and stable. It definitely saves space in his room. I would recommend to have someone to help you put it together because it definitely took a few hours with a lot of pieces. Worth it though.
