  • These work great!
Color: Black
My boys are constantly messing up the bottoms of their skis and it was costing us a fortune to fix them all the time. I saw this product and thought I would give it a try. It works great! So easy to use. We bought a small wax iron, melted it to the surface and smoothed it out. It looks as good or better than when we take it to our local ski shop. I would get these again in a heartbeat. Next time we use it I will take a video and post it. Great buy! ... show more

  • Not ptex

Not sure what this is but it’s not ptex. More like PVC. Do not buy.

  • Note the small diameter sticks, and some are hollow reason cheap
Color: Black
Ptex sticks are typically much thicker for bigger flame in my decades of experience repairing ski & snowboards. I was in a hurry & ordered these, remarking to myself what a deal they were! They arrived & I see they are very thin, about 1/4". I know it says size but these China made tiny diameter sticks are also hollow at least on half of ends I could see. They aren't what I wanted, going to return for higher quality product. That's on me for buying as they were described, but not a good diameter IMHO. ... show more

  • Small Diameter Sticks
Color: Black
I ordered this package of Ptex sticks to have on hand, and I haven't had to do any repairs with it yet. I did melt some and it seemed to melt just like other Ptex I've used so I expect it should work the same too. Ptex is really just a quick repair anyway to fill in shallow scratches an dings. You get 10 sticks in the package for $9.99 which is a pretty good price, but these sticks are a lot smaller diameter than an older stick I've been using. I don't know if all Ptex comes in the smaller size now, or if this is just a way that they can give you less material for the money. ... show more

  • Smaller diameter, but thats good for me
Color: Black
I only needed to make a very few small minor repairs. So even though these are skinner than normal, it makes it easier to work with for small jobs. So it was perfect for me.

  • Great Quality
Color: Black
Did exactly what it was supposed to. Easy to use to fix the scratches I put on the bottom of my skis. Left a smooth base in my skies and help up throughout the season. Way cheaper and better than paying a ski shop to fix.
