Super easy to unfold when received, easy to adjust height and secure the base. Perfect stability to protect from falling when walking on uneven surfaces. I love the fold-down support for getting up. Great for now before mom's hip replacement, and while healing afterwards.

I purchased this cane for my mother after she injured her ankle. She had been borrowing my traditional/standard cane, but wanted something a more stable than the single foot offered her. I hoped this design's wider base would offer more stability and the extra folding grip would help her stand. Instead, this cane's feet flexes so much that she felt less stable and the grips being at different heights made it awkward to use both at the same time. She went back to using my old cane saying she trusts it more. Only reason I'm not rating it lower is that it folds compact enough to fit into a scooter's basket and I think the folding grip could be useful with practice. However, due to the lack of stability, I would encourage shoppers to look elsewhere for a wide-base cane. ... show more
