These shocks look amazing and the ride is flawless. Straight out of the box I bolted them on my 2000 400ex and went across some bumps and hit minor jumps and it felt like I was on flat ground. I highly recommend these!!! Roger in VA

The hose isn't long enough and the bracket for the reservoir do not work very well with the 400 ex. Had to put behind the air box which destroyed the hose being too short. 1st run and damaged the hose so now I gotta fix the hose which withh cost more then I wanted to spend plus time. Not like they sell the supply line anywhere so it has to be custom. Debating on weather to throw it away and buy a non gas shock. Not recommended for the 400 ex. Worked great for the 1st 30 min of riding. Now I feel like I was ripped off.

(UPDATE starting to get soft the damping is blowing out with about 10 hrs of field riding :/) So far the 2 rides I did with them on my 400ex has been awesome

For the record, I didn't get these for a Honda Sportrax. I got them for a DIY go-kart that is currently in the works. While it's a long way from completion, I do have the beginnings of a chassis, a 212cc Predator engine with a stage 1 intake/exhaust/carb, a set of suspension arms, and a battery. The included pic is the suspension arms I have which these will be bolted to. The arms have 3 different holes in them for the shocks, which will allow me to fine-tune compression dampening rates. The fact these shocks have adjustable rebound compliments my design perfectly, and the fact they're air shocks means they're substantially lighter than any fluid-filled shock. And they are delightfully light, they will be perfect for my application. Also having adjustable pre-loading means I'll be able to tune my ride height. All in all, it should make for a wickedly effective suspension. In case anyone's curious, the suspension arms I'm using are actually Honda Civic control arms. There will be 2 sets of them, front and rear, to locate the rear hub. If you have a Honda Sportrax, you should find these to be a quality upgrade from the stock shocks. If you're a DIY builder like me and you're looking for a set of shocks for your next e-bike or go-kart project, you might like these even MORE. The build quality is fantastic, the adjustability they give your suspension is a huge plus, and they're light as a feather. Ok, not literally, but for a set of shocks like this, they're very light. The rebound adjust is also very precise, with definite clicks and smooth operation. Make sure you count your clicks correctly to get them set identically. I have no complaints about these works of motion-dampening art. 5 stars.
