We were very happy with this product and directions were very easy to follow! The fact that it matches our current furniture almost perfectly makes it even that much better. The overall product is very sturdy and has a nice weight to it, but with the wheels on the bottom we have absolutely no problem moving it around if need be. There are plenty of slots for us to store all of our home plans. Glad that we moved forward with purchasing this product now we can file away our plans! I would buy this product again!

I'm trying hard not to be hyperbolic with this review because I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. First of all, it is flimsy, as others have pointed out. I expected that -- it is obviously made of particle board, not wood (you don't get wood for this price, ever). But the packaging was so inadequate that parts were broken, the package containing the screws had broken open and screws were missing, and the "wood" itself was broken and damaged. But the most unforgivable flaw is that one of the dividers was cut with slots that did not fit the others. The result is that my 50 compartment storage unit only has 40 compartemtnts. Also, note that the dividers are not at all like the ones pictured. There is nothing that attaches the tops, so they just kind of flop around, and do not hold rolled documents well at all. If I had paid $20 for this, I might have been happy with the purchase. At $170, it was a completel ripoff. Probably the worst purchase I've made in over ten years of Amazon shopping.

I’m being nice and giving this 3/5 stars because the box arrived trashed. It was barely taped and some pieces inside were slightly damaged from what I could tell by peaking in the opening. I returned it right away.

Do NOT buy this product. I took it out of the box and followed the directions to a tee. It is cheaply made out of particle board. The bottom (piece #5) panel was cut way too small and fell out the bottom. In theory this would be an amazing item but it’s cheaply made, too expensive for how cheap the materials are. It is NOT sturdy and I feel like the screws would rip through the particle board if the air was on too high and blew on it and it were to shift or fall over. After spending quite some time on the phone with Amazon they made things right. But please, please, please save yourself the headache and buy any other product that is NOT this one. I would give it negative stars if that were an option.

This item is packed about as good against shipping damage as can be hoped. One has to be very careful during assembly because the screws go into pressboard/similar material, which can very easily be stripped! It appears that once the unit is completely assembled safely...one should get good longevity. While expensive one would hope for more attention to the various pieces being more exacting and free from irritating defects...which when in use for the most part would not be noticed, but remain none-the-less. Be advised the cubbies are not large in diameter if using as intended with the 50 available. I am happy with what the unit provides me in my studio.
