The product is so good I decided to make a review which I never do. I am the owner of this account's son so bare with me here. This shoe makes basic to extensive moves like a simple penetration step to a supplex 10 times easier. The product has a hard layer around the heel which is perfect to keep balance, control, and it's one of the things that makes moves easier. They are very versatile and the are VERY lightweight, making it easier to move. They are so lightweight that I hung the box on the wall with 2 thumbtacks and put both the shoes on top of the box. It has yet to fall. The straps and the ties on the shoe make it next to impossible for them to fall off due to basic activity, and to add on you'll need your bulked coach to come and try to take it off when it's fully laced and strapped. I have had the shoe for only a day and I feel the next time I'm on the mat it will be a complete landslide against someone with no footwear or good shoes. ... show more

The shoe itself fit as expected; if you have narrow feet, order your usual size. If you have bigger feet, I'd order half a size bigger, due to wrestling shoes being quite narrow. My wrestling season cut short due to injury, but I will say that these are doable, in terms of comfort and performance. They look clean, feel clean with any pair of socks (I recommend low cut or crew socks with these), and are only meant for just wrestling; running on hard floor is torture. ... show more

Ordered a size 16. I wear a size 15. 230 lb 6'7". I can fit a thumb between the tip of the big toe and the end of the shoe, but the ring and pinky toe get jammed to the point of uncomfortability. The shoe is too narrow, so order up at least one size. I'd even recommend two, but there's no size 17. I relaced and skipped the first cross to give myself some more space in the toes. Construction is well done. I used these 6 months daily for boxing and they have held up well. I expect another few months to the end of year before I need to replace them. ... show more

These wrestling shoes were on sale, so I figured I'd give them a try. As a former high school and collegiate wrestler, I always purchased Asics in the past but now that I am coaching, I am not superstitious as I used to be about wearing the "correct" shoe to get wins. (I know, it sounds dumb but athletes can be strangely particular...long story) Anyway, these fit great and are comfortable on the mat. Good buy! ... show more
