UPDATE: 6 months wearing these Adidas Sambas and I am still loving them!! They're my go-to.... every day! Still in great shape too! I added a recent photo. I’ve been wearing these Adidas Sambas almost daily for 4 months, and they’ve easily become my go-to sneakers. Fit: They run slightly big. I recommend going down half a size. Once I did that, the fit was perfect. Comfort: Comfortable for all-day wear (walking, errands, even long days out). They felt a little stiff at first, but broke in quickly. Style/Versatility: These work with everything: jeans, work outfits, casual nights out. Super easy to dress up or down. Durability: After months of heavy use, they’re still holding up really well. No major wear, and the initial squeaking went away after a few wears. Cons: ● Slight squeak when brand new ● Sizing runs a bit large I liked them enough to buy a second pair for my daughter & she loves them too. I love these Sambas - this is actually my second pair in a different color. I work in an office environment and wear them with dress pants, and they look fresh and put together. I’ve basically given up on traditional dress shoes because these are so much more comfortable while still looking polished and youthful. The design is classic and versatile, so they work just as well on weekends with casual outfits. One thing to note: they are a little stiffer than a typical running or tennis shoe. The material has a slightly firmer feel at first (almost a bit “structured”), but that’s typical for Sambas and they break in with wear. I had my eye on this shoe for months but was concerned with all the mixed reviews. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The shoe is super comfortable, way more comfortable that I thought. It also is sharp and eye catching, crisp colors and lines. It does run slightly big - I am normally an 8 in women's adidas and this 8 was a little big. I could have gone down to a 7.5. The Adidas Unisex Sambas are a classic, stylish shoe that goes with just about anything from jeans to casual athletic wear. They have that timeless retro look Adidas is known for, but they do take some breaking in. Out of the box, they feel a bit stiff and flat, so expect a few wears before they really start to mold to your feet. One thing to note: they definitely run large. I recommend ordering a full size down from your normal shoe size for the best fit. Once broken in, they’re comfortable for everyday wear, though not ideal for long periods on your feet since they have minimal arch support.
