These slides have such a great amount of cushion you do feel like your walking on a pillow ,, they have great grip inside so your feet don’t slip around. The adjustable Velcro is great to help accommodate all foot widths ! I actually ordered a 2nd pair to have as a backup ! I have been looking for a comfortable sandal to use as my heels hurt after prolonged walking or standing. Loved this as the heels part gives much cushion, soft and thick. I tried to buy other adidas rubber slip on sandals but this one is for me. It also has an adjustable strap on the front. I highly recommend this Alphabounce sandals if you are like me with painful heels. I just needed to downsize as adidas sandals are not true to size for me.

Overall they feel comfortable and do what I expected, however, they seem a bit too thick and that takes a while to get used to. I'd lose my balance sometimes for a few months because they put my back heal almost an inch high. I've been wearing sandals for a good many decades, and most average about half an inch high. The extra height caught my habits & reflexes off guard. Maybe it's a generational thing, where younger people are used to higher sandals? I can't answer that. If you are not used to it, expect a learning curve, and walk carefully until you adjust. The advantage is one gets more cushioning of gait, but that matters less for casual & around-the-house use. If you walk a lot in them, you may like the extra thickness. Also, the side rim sticks out a bit from the middle cushion, and I felt the rim at first toward mid-foot, but either my feet or the sandals adjusted, and now I can't tell. All foot-ware takes time to break in physically and mentally, but I'm reporting my adjustment journey.

These are perfect slip-on’s. They have great ergonomic support for your feet, a lot of thick cushioning to ease your joints and are made to be durable. With the adjustable top you create your comfort level. The wide band adds plenty of stability as you walk. They look great as well! Everything I hoped they would be!

I love these slides so much. I was really bummed when they discontinued the superstars but these are actually, dare I say it, better. The superstars had a fabric instep so, while they were crazy comfortable, and still had awesome support for a slide....they got smelly after a while and took FOREVER to dry. Still, I LOVED my Superstars, so when i was forced to try something new (change sucks!) i was not pumped about it. Well, these actually are better. They are soft and crazy supportive but the foam base doesn't absorb water like the superstars did. These things hold up well to my 300lb weight, and they don't smell as bad over time as the superstars because the foam doesn't absorb the foot smell. you DO still have to clean them from time to time as the strap has a fabric bottom. Which is fine; the comfort level and support for a shoe so convenient and easy to clean up when they get dirty is outstanding. They are more expensive than Adilettes or something like that but it's worth it...these are without a doubt some of the best slides out there - super practical and good support, with that Adidas style I dig. What's not to like?

I like these slides from early Spring until late Fall in the PNW. They are my go-to slippers for around the house, since they can handle a quick trip outside in the rain, and are thick enough to cushion my feet after a long day of work. Easy to clean, too, which is a plus - they can be easily hosed off if I step in something disgusting outside when pooh scooping the yard. They can also be thrown in the washer (I usually put them in with the jeans, or the dog towels) and washed if they start getting funky smelling from normal wear. I wore my first pair out after five years, so was glad to see them still available.
