There is a different type of softer, comfy foam that your foot actually touches (sorry don't know the terminology lol) and then the rest of the sandal is a thicker rubber. There is actually arch support in the shoe which makes them so comfortable to wear and they just hug your foot in the best way. The style is so cool, they are really great for modern, comfy, stylish summer sandals that you can wear for basically anything outdoors. I'm definitely ordering them for her in another color besides black, I highly recommend these. Sizing is spot-on. I like them, kinda feel good to my feet. I think I ordered Sz 10 fit feet real nice only doesn’t fit well when wearing socks too tight so I’ll have to order a bigger size so that I can wear socks as well.

The part that rests on the top of your foot is not the same size from one to the other. One slips on easily and comfortably and the other one is tight! I expected the footbed to be soft because I read other reviews but it's not, it's hard. I could have dealt with them being stiff but I can't deal with two different sizes.
