Although these are men’s shorts, they’re a great fit for pre-teen and teen boys. The size chart is accurate — on a 4'10" boy, a size SM lands right at the knee and leaves a little room for growth with the elastic waist. Not all elastic waists are built the same, but these have a wide, comfortable band that stretches without squeezing. The waist measures to the size chart. These shorts look to be good quality shorts. They stretch a little bit but they have a way to tie them if you need to. The sizing runs a little big. I received the Adidas Men's Badge of Sport Basketball Shorts a couple weeks back, and they’re excellent. Made of 100% polyester, these shorts are not only durable but also incredibly soft and lightweight, they’re perfect for both working out and lounging. One of its highlights is the moisture-wicking technology, which keeps me dry and comfortable, even during workouts. The loose fit allows for ease of movement, giving a relaxed look that doesn’t restrict movement. The mesh waist and perforation panels enhance airflow, ensuring I stay cool, which is a huge plus during hot days. The 11-inch inseam is just what I look for in a pair of shorts, giving plenty of coverage. I really like the deep pockets; they can easily accommodate my iPhone 16 without any hassle. As long as your phone isn't excessively large, you should have no problem fitting it in. With the Adidas 3-bar logo on the left leg, these shorts have a great appearance as well as being functional. They check all the boxes for me, and I’m already planning to buy a few more pairs in different colors.
