I have had a number of different brands of socks over the years from expensive to less so. Thsse probably fit in the less expensive side but I really like them. The "compression" effect is pronounced and they are comfortable to wear. I wear a size 14 shoes and XL size socks fits me well. I’ve gone through a lot of different socks over the years, and these adidas quarter socks are the ones I keep coming back to. They’re super comfortable, with just the right amount of cushioning—not too thick, not too thin. I wear them for everything from walking the dog to doing errands, and they’ve held up really well in the wash. The arch support keeps them from sliding around, and they never bunch up in my sneakers, which drives me crazy with cheaper socks. Even after multiple washes, the elastic hasn’t given out and they haven’t gotten all loose or faded. Only thing to note: if you prefer really thin socks, these might feel a little too padded, especially in tight shoes. But for regular sneakers, they’re perfect.
