I always worry when I'm out walking, that I'll drop my water bottle or keys in my pockets. The zippers are well built. I've had other brands where the zipper is a pain. These are much better. No random threads coming loose after a number of washings. I will buy another pair at some point.

Bought a medium, no need for the drawstring, which is what I prefer. The length is a couple inches above the knee (I am 6'2"), and for biking, sprinting, and lifting, this is what I like over the longer inseam that catches my knees when bending, etc. Zippers on the pockets work well, no snagging. Bought these for my son. The quality is great, he loves the pockets and the style, but be aware that they do run a little larger than normal. He usually wears a size large and they hit just above his knee and he rarely needs to use the drawstrings. Well, thank goodness these have drawstrings because he definitely needed it for the larger waist. These also hit at the bottom of his knee. But overall, great shorts.

Good shorts, a good weight and length, but I wouldn’t buy them again bc of one silly reason…the string in the waistband is too short. I’m not ‘thin’, but not ‘large’ either, a 33 inch waist and if I was any larger the shorts would still fit, but the string wouldn’t be long enough to tie.

My son loves the old 3 stripe shorts, but it seems that Adidas has discontinued them. Of course, I search Amazon and find a few color options to order him. He wears a lot of soccer jerseys and athletic wear on the daily, so we stick with buying the basic neutral colors to coordinate. We ordered the legend ink (dark navy blue) with white stripes, but received legend ink with crew navy stripes. He will likely keep them, as options are limited. However, be aware that you may not receive what is pictured. We also had to wait a crazy amount of time, considering the shipper was in state. The tracking kept updating that the package had been picked up by carrier or had left carrier, and that could not have been true. It was loggin that every few hours. Unless that carrier was handing off these shorts like a baton relay throughout the entire state, it’s simply not possible. Ordered 9/3 and finally received 9/15. As for the shorts themselves, we already knew what we were getting into with the fabric and features, so no surprise there. If you prefer lightweight training style shorts with zippered pockets, you will like these.
