Visually, these Adidas Men's Run 76/26 are great and really nail the retro look. However, the mesh material is extremely lightweight and feels cheap. The upper offers zero protection—any minor bump against a surface is felt completely, with no buffer at all. They look good, but the fragile materials make them impractical for anything more than very light wear.

I am a teacher and spend the vast majority of my day on my feet, walking and standing for hours. Finding a shoe that is both comfortable for 8+ hours and stylish enough for a professional setting is difficult, but the adidas 76/26 delivers perfectly. Comfort and Performance (The All-Day Test) The comfort of these sneakers is truly their standout feature. I've worn them all day at school multiple times, and my feet did not feel fatigued or sore by the end of the day. Cushioning: The combination of the internal Cloudfoam base and Lightstrike cushioning is noticeable. It provides a soft, "pillow-like" feel on impact while still feeling lightweight and responsive enough to move easily around the classroom. Support: They offer excellent support for standing. Unlike some softer shoes that feel flat after a few hours, these maintained their cushion and kept my feet comfortable. Wear: The black colorway is great—it looks sharp and professional enough to wear with business casual attire, fitting seamlessly into a work wardrobe while providing athletic-level comfort. Design and Style The design is inspired by 70s running shoes, giving them a clean, retro-modern look that is highly versatile. Color: The all-black version is sleek and minimalist. The black upper, combined with the signature three stripes, makes them fashionable without being flashy, and they pair well with almost everything. Build: The mix of textile/mesh and what feels like suede or leather overlays gives the shoe a premium, layered look and contributes to the overall durability. Going to preface this review by stating I would have gone to 3-1/2 stars if 1/2 stars were allowed I'm retired but work a part-time job two days a week where I average 15k-20k steps per day. I've tried all kinds of shoes to keep my feet comfortable for all those steps. I've tried many of the better sneakers for walkers/runners but my feet always were sore when I got home from work. When these Adidas sneakers showed up I was positive I made a mistake ordering them. They are super super light. So light I was apprehensive about wearing them at work. The two sneakers together "felt" lighter than one of my Brooks running shoes. When I wore them to work the first time I brought an extra pair of sneakers with me just in case. I didn't need them. In addition to being light the are very comfortable to wear all dight. I was really happy with the choice and started wearing them to work exclusively. After a month they remained comfortable. Now for the not so good news, while they are structurally fine, they look like I've been wearing them all day every day for a year. They lost that new look really quickly. To compare, I have a pair of Adidas court shoes that I wear to play outdoor pickleball (and we play very aggressively). I wore the court shoes from April through October last year and the uppers still look new (there is obvious wear on the bottoms which is to be expected. The uppers on the Adidas 76/26 on the other hand do not age well at all. They look old and worn out already. They are structurally fine with no rips or fraying but they at two month old they look like I've been wearing them for years. At first I was thinking these would be the only sneakers I buy for work, but now I'm not so sure.

These sneakers are extremely lightweight to the point that it almost feels like you’re not wearing shoes at all. That was the first thing I noticed when I put them on. I was initially a little concerned about how well the sole would hold up because of how light it is, but so far it has held up just fine with regular use. The fit is comfortable and supportive for normal daily wear, and they’ve been easy to walk in for extended periods without discomfort. One thing to keep in mind is that they do run a bit narrow, so I wouldn’t recommend them for anyone with wider feet. Overall, these are a great option if you’re looking for a lightweight, comfortable sneaker that looks good and performs well for everyday use.
