If I would have rated these pair of tennis shoes based on my initial impression and the first time I inserted my feet into them I would have rated them at one or two stars. They are extremely narrow and it took about a month to break them down properly. I actually had the opportunity to try a half size larger pair after buying these and they still felt tight. Therefore I recommend going for half size larger than whatever you may be. Taking in consideration that most court tennis shoes will cost 80+ these make a lot of sense for the budget conscious player and they perform well. They are not among the most comfortable tennis shoes but they won't murder you feet neither and therefore I consider them acceptable. ... show more

I really like the look and the feel of these shoes. I am wearing them for Pickleball primarily and I use them indoors and outdoors. As far as size they are right on the money. With an orthotic insert they are a little tighter but that is my choice. You may not use an orthotic insert. The quality is high as you would expect from Adidas. They are a bit heavier than I thought they would be but they probably need to be for durability outdoors. We are all getting accustomed to super light foam shoes these days and these are not super light... plus my orthotic adds some weight. That said, they are just fine. Bought these because they were reasonably priced tennis shoes that I could use for pickleball. They were a little snug when I tried them on, but loosened up when playing in them the 1st time.
