I was looking for an inexpensive tennis shoe to play on clay. The main feature I was looking for was the tread on the bottom of the shoe. This shoe has a nice herringbone pattern that really works well on the clay surface. It felt very secure and I could move around easily and confidently in it. It is the slip in kind of Adidas shoe which I like and it has nice padding. It felt very comfortable out of the box and did not require any break in period. I have other tennis shoes that provide more lateral support but so far these are working out well. I have not yet tried these on the hard court so it may play differently on that surface. I wear size 9, got half size smaller 8.5, and they fit good with some wiggle room in the toe box. They fit really snug from the tongue to the heel. Almost too tight, probably gotta break them in some. There’s no mesh on them; looks like it, but it’s close woven and doesn’t breath well. They look breathable, but they’re actually closed off with thick layers. Also they’re really sturdy. In pictures they look soft and bendy, but it’s the opposite. I feel them solidly around my feet, and they bend and flex where needed. I play tennis recreationally, so I feel these will last me forever. Solid pair of shoes. ... show more

Wide toe box. Good fit. These court shoes are wider than the fashion product, and hold up. Still if you use them a lot I(pickleball) your going to get about 6 months out of a pair. Not bad.

These lasted the rest of that season and this one and are still in excellent condition!
