A Dotty tread with Stealth S1 rubber offers legendary flat pedal control to support everything you do on your bike. The canvas upper provides mountain- bike-worthy durability for trail and town. All with a comfy fit and feel that sets the bar for versatile wear on and off the bike. This shoe's upper is made with a high-performance yarn which contains at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic - reimagined plastic waste, intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines, preventing it from polluting our ocean. The other 50% of the yarn is recycled polyester.

These have a nice wide toe box, which I prefer. if you're an in-between-er like me, (between 10 1/2 and 11) go with the larger size, which fit perfectly. I'm not a big fan of the black shoe colors in the biking world, so this gray pair with tan highlights works better for me, although I know they get dirty easier. ... show more

I'm 49 and just started mountain biking this season. While there are a lot of skills to learn, one important part is keeping your feet on the pedals through jumps and turns. Actual biking shoes are WAY better than my set of Pumas or Lottos. When paired with even a cheap set of upgraded flat pedals, my feet feel glued to the bike. These are a great upgrade for the price, and my confidence on my MTB feels much better. If you don't have biking shoes, I'd definitely recommend a pair of 5-10s to level up. ... show more

The product description didn't say what size they are or have a way to select size or color. They came up when I filtered by my size and the price was right so... They are exactly what I hoped. I'm not a mountain biker any more, but do a lot of hiking around the sandstone spires and slot canyons of southern Utah and Northern Arizona. The stealth rubber soul of the freeriders are Perfect for this. and I was super happy to find a pair that wasn't black. What is the deal with Five Ten these days? Do they think all guys are Batman??? Five Ten: "What color of shoes do you want? Batman: "Black. I only wear black. Black or realy realy dark grey." I live in the desert! Black shoes would split the skins on my pigs! Sorry. Rant over. These shoes are great so far! my last pair lasted 6+ years of reasonable use. We'll see if these do as well now that Adidas owns them. Fingers crossed. ... show more
