Adidas has done a great job with this shoes! I am floored on the energy return, the overall comfortableness, and overall grip/durability of these shoes! For a non-carbon plated shoes, these definitely feels like they have one. I've done long runs (10 miles or more) in these shoes as well as 5k races, and they are amazing. I used to be a Nike Vaporfly fan, but due to a past injury that keeps flaring up, I couldn't wear them anymore, and so I decided to give these a shot, and boy they felt amazing. Plus, they don't give me that 'hot shoe' foot feel (nor blisters) after my runs unlike my Nike Vaporfly ones. Really happy with these shoes. Only down side though is the sizing. I'm usually a 10 for Adidas (I have their boost, their yeezy, their stans, you name it) but this is the first time I have to size half up, so I got the 10.5 ones, and they fit perfect. ... show more

Very comfortable and very good and fast for running. I easily attained my desired pace with these shoes. I even got a painful corn under my heel and I didn't feel it through the whole HM run. =D My size in Adidas is usually accurate but this time I had to go 1/2 notch short though.

Adidas running shoes never piqued my curiosity until the Boston 12. I was pleasantly surprised with an inaugural 5-miler. True to size,nicely cushioned and responsive. The ride is similar to that of the New Balance FuelCell Rebel and the Hoka Mach 6, IMO. The Rebel has no plate, but it's lighter and less expensive than the Boston 12. Nitpicking on the Boston, the laces tend to come untied if you don't double-knot them, and you have to snug up the laces a row at a time to get a secure-feeling midfoot fit. Other than that, and the fact that it's made in China, it's almost a 5-star running shoe. ... show more
