I bought these for my 9-year-old son, who is autistic and still really struggles with tying his shoes. It can be frustrating for him, especially when he’s expected to do it independently at school. He can put them on and take them off himself without getting frustrated trying to tie and retie his shoes. I bought these for my 6 year old son, and I love that they look casual but also nice enough that he can wear them on family outings, to church, etc. They look very stylish and go with pretty much any outfit he wears. He says they are comfy and never complains about them hurting his feet. These are true to size and have held up very well. I also like that they close with Velcro as opposed to laces.
