I'm obsessed with Aden + Anais products for our 2 week old! I purchased these to use as burp cloths with the hope that they would last long enough to be used as bibs as our little one gets older. That being said, even if they don't make it to bib-dom, I'd still buy these in a heartbeat! We use them with every feeding to catch any dribbled breastmilk, wipe our baby's mouth after feeding, mop up any spitups she may have, and as a burp cloth after each feed. They've washed great so far (3-4 times already) and show no signs of wear and tear. They're nice and thick, so even though there isn't any waterproof layer they still haven't seeped through with any of the messes we've had. They're also very soft, so I have no problem using them to wipe our infant's mouth or my sore nipples. The Vintage Circus pattern is very cute too! Like any of the rest of our a+a products, these do produce a decent amount of lint while washing, but I've dried these in the dryer and seen no ill effects. You might consider washing darker fabrics or non-baby items separately if you're concerned about lint getting on the other things in the load. I would also recommend washing anything with velcro separately or in a garment bag in the same load, since it seems like any of the muslin products would pull very easily with any velcro products. Overall I'm very happy with these and am considering buying a few more to add to the rotation!

These are very thick burpy cloths that can also be used as bibs. They are big - on my baby they were gigantic (we didn't start really using them as burp clothes until he was about 1, since he didn't each much food before that). They really poof up after washing, which is really nice. They have little metal snaps on them so they can snap in a circle around the neck. The quality was very nice - classic A&A, made of the same material as the muslin swaddles they sell. Though we found them a bit big when the baby was younger, as he got older and messier, my husband loved these because they covered so much. When we used it as a burp cloth, I loved the curve, because it rested on my shoulders better.

I'm glad I got these, but in my opinion, they are definitely not necessary. Aesthetics trumps functionality. The designs are very attractive, and I use these bibs to lay under my baby's head to catch spit up, providing a beautiful background whenever I snap a photo. The contour of the bib is ideal for laying over the shoulder, so it stays better than a towel. They are nice quality, but I question their absorbency. It takes some time for liquids to absorb. Milk or spit up pools and stays on top of the fabric, long enough to run down onto my baby's clothes. For this reason, they are also not the best thing to grab to wipe milk off my baby's face.

These bibs are awesome! We use it everyday to burp. I like the shape. Our son is a little over 2 months now and we have started using them not just as burp cloths but bibs i like them better than the a&a bibs, the nibblers. I gave it 4 stars because the cars design for whatever reason started to pill a little. Now, keep in mine they have been washed at least 20 times in a months time, so we are hard on them. Also, the quality of these are better than the ones you get at babies rus. They are sold only in singles and not as good. So don't waste your money on those. All in all well worth it, invest in more than one set!

I bought these originally after a friend recommended them, and I have been pleased with them. I bought two of the two packs for me, plus several more as baby shower gifts. We didn't' need them as burp cloths as much as our daughter isn't an "urpy" child, but they were nice and absorbent for drool or general wiping up, even if it was just mom's spilled water bottle. I would keep one in each area of the house we hung out in for clean up. We are starting to use them as bibs now, and while the fit at the neck could be a bit snugger, they absorb lots of rice cereal spit out with drool, yet still wash up looking almost new. They are also big enough to be a small nursing shield if you forget your cover up. They won't cover everything, but they give the illusion of coverage.

These are the most awesome burp cloths - not only are they cute but they are functional too. Before I found these I'd always just used the Gerber diaper cloths. The decorative burp cloths were all junk because they were more about being cute than absorbent and personally, I'd rather use something that actually soaks up spit up than just looks nice but I end up with spit up all over me. BUT these Aden & Anais burpy bibs are perfect because yes, they're cute but they also absorb really well - even better than the diaper cloths in fact. The contoured shape is great too, hangs perfectly over your shoulder and they are heavier than just a diaper cloth so they stay put instead of sliding around. Awesome! Plus doubling as a bib? Brilliant! Love them! I just wish they would do some more prints, not too many to choose from yet.
