These burp cloths are amazing, super soft and extra absorbent. The 6-layer muslin feels thick but still gentle enough for a newborn’s skin. They’re a good size too, plenty of coverage for feedings or shoulder burping. I’ve washed them several times already and they’ve held up great, still soft, no shrinking, and they get fluffier with each wash. The all-white color looks clean and simple, which I love. I have not seen or used these cloth diaper since my little sister was a baby in '78 but here we are using them as drop cloths for bibs as an adult and carry towels in my bag. These are absolutely beautiful and incredibly soft. I use them for many different things such as catching crumbs, drying hands after washing, and using as a barrier for my bottom due to pressure sores being bedridden.     • Make great hand-towels in the kitchen! Would be great for babies, too!
Pros: - Super easy to care for- just wash in hot and dry in the dryer (I would avoid fabric softeners, though) - I like the texture/feel of these as I've never been a big fan of the "feel" of microfiber (I recommend washing a few times and drying before using as it softens them up). - Really good absorbancy (I believe after I wash and dry a few more times, it will be better) - Lint-free and doesn't trap lint either - Doesn't shed plastic/man-made material into the environment/ocean Cons: - Not as absorbent as microfiber (although as above, I think the absorbancy will improve with more washing/drying cycles) I bought these to use for cleaning/drying stuff in the house as I'd read that microfiber towels shed plastic pieces when washed and are not good for the environment (which doesn't surprise me because microfiber is made from man-made/plastic materials.) I washed these 2x and dried in dryer 1x before using. They shrunk just a little. They didn't perform exactly like a microfiber towel, but I like them ALOT better! I like them best as a hand-towel in the kitchen but I'm sure these would make great burp cloths. ... show more
