I had a ton of LED bulbs that I could not use in other places of my house because they were not dimmable or were the wrong color temperature. This string of sockets gave me the perfect base for a “poor mans” string of work lights for my barn loft. The LED bulbs were all plastic and don’t require guards and I don’t need super heavy duty cabling to hold up to work site abuse. The sockets did require some modification to accept standard bulbs. I had to cut off most of the rubber on the socket so that standard bulbs would fit. Overall very happy with these lights and may purchase more for other places around our homestead. ... show more

Ordered these for a backyard function and very glad I did. I ran a 1/4” steel cable from Harbor Freight from the pergola to the oak trees and attached the string lights with zip ties. I’m in south Louisiana so I can easily remove them when hurricanes come thru.

I love the lights, but they're no good if the bulbs don't function. I put them out a week ago and already two bulbs have burnt out. They have not shattered or broken but they just don't work! These worked great for an outdoor rehearsal dinner! One important note, you have to screw in the bulbs to the point where you think they may break. We hung up 3 strands and thought 2 were broken entirely - turned out the bulbs needed to be tightened A LOT.

These lights are absolutely stunning. Our backyard was pretty dark and these really helped brighten them up. They are very sturdy! We had one crazy wind storm and part of the line snapped but we got it replaced. Normal windy days, it stays put. Great purchase!
