Each camera has 9600mAh rechargeable battery that can be fully charged in 5 hours using USB-C cable. [+] Each camera has 2K resolution lens and comes with a wall mount kit and mounting templates. [+] Cameras communicate with the base station, which has built-in 32GB memory. Even if the camera has been tempered or stolen, the recorded video is stored on the base inside the house. Many other similar camera system comes with 16FB memory or you need to buy microSD card separately. [+] No need to pay for monthly subscription fee. This means once you buy this unit, you no longer have to pay anything else to have fully functional outdoor security camera forever. [+] Did I mention that this unit does not incur any additional fee or money after initial purchase? :) WHAT I DON'T LIKE: [-] The camera can only be setup with the base connected to the router using ethernet cable. While the ethernet cable can be unplugged to go wireless after setting it up, it gives you warning that it might affect the performance and that it's not recommended. This is not that big of deal for me as I have router in the center of the house but it might be a problem for those who has a router in specific location far from the cameras. [-] It's great that it has 9600mAh battery but it doesn't mention real life battery life in number of days or months. I had this setup for 2 weeks in my backyard and it indicates that it has 98% battery remaining so I'm guessing it should last for few months but it's also based on how much activities are recorded and Live View mode is used. It would have been amazing if it has interchangeable battery so that I can purchase spare battery to fully charge and ready to be swapped when the one inside the battery gets to 5%. BOTTOM LINE: I would give 10 stars if I can without any reservation. This is one simply impressive and amazing outdoor security cameras in terms of quality and features, as well as long term cost. The notification to my iPhone is near instant and the app is very easy to use. I actually have Nest cameras and pay annual subscription fee but I got this camera to set it up in my backyard for security and to capture any animal intruders and I was able to see deer and racoon. I'm thinking about replacing my Nest camera with this one in front of the house when my Nest subscription ended. highly recommend this amazing security camera for those who are looking to install without wires and additional monthly fee. ... show more

I've been using the cameras for about 3 weeks now. They were easy to set up and connect. Settings were easy to figure out and customize. Sometimes I won't get a notification that there is a new video. This may be because of my phone though. So, I go into the app and check a couple times a day to see what's there. I sometimes have an issue with new videos from the day loading. If that happens, I move the date at the top forward and then back to the "today" setting, and they load. It's slightly annoying, but it works, so I'll go with it. Battery life is down 7% on one and 11% on the other. I don't feel like I have a ton of activity on them. It's probably an average of (10) 30 second videos a day. Overall, if it works out to 10% used every 3 weeks, I would be happy with that. Easy to charge at the base or with a separate charging cord. Night vision is clear. You are able to zoom in on the video too. Video is easy to screenshot and/or download to phone for storage or sending to someone else. It has audio too. You can hear conversation, but it's sometimes too quiet to hear every word. However, this isn't a big deal to be as the video was my main reason for purchase. Easy to check in real time on the camera too. I really like everything stored in the base with no cloud or subscription. Ultimately, this was the selling factor for me. ... show more

My family is very happy with this purchase! And we have already placed the 2nd order. The base station could be connected wirelessly to wifi after its activation via ethernet cable. So we can hide the base station in a relatively safer location to protect the recordings. The recordings could also be download to other storage devices via the app. We really appreciate the function of build-in anti-theft/dismount alarm. Battery life is great! Our dog is a very active German Shepherd. He makes sure to get at least 100 video records a day on the camera in our backyard. After 20 days, the camera still 81% battery full (10 seconds per clip). During the same period, the camera on the garage door only used 7% of the battery. Although, we do hope: (1) the detection zone could be in the shape of adjustable irregular polygons. Currently, we need to use couple rectangles to cover the whole area of interest. (2) the recording duration could have a choice of from 2-second-before-motion to the-end-of-motion, or something alike. Currently, the recordings are always missing the beginning (1-2 seconds assumed) of the detected motion. We wish both of our hopes could become true via app updates...... Furthermore, the seller is very responsible for their products. They answer my questions about their devices and app quickly. ... show more

I'm pleased with the cameras thus far. Very easy to set up. The images are pretty clear as well as night time vision. I'm still working through somethings that I would like to see happening such as some type of notice on my phone when it captures an image. I bought these to replace my outdoor light bulb Camera that was a waste of money. I bought these because I don't need to get a subscription to watch more than 6sec. Which is great! The picture quality is pretty decent, although I can't zoom m enough yo read plate numbers, not hard to pair with the base although it took a few tries for me. So far it's an upgrade to what I had before. My only complaint is that when I get a notification of motion I cannot see the live feed which is useless in the event there is something serious happening. This is why the 3. 5 🌟 rating.
