A couple small quirks, but overall a great addition to the kitchen. Pros: • Creates functional space in an area that used to be unusable • Perfect for items that need extra drying time when you skip heat-dry • Great spot for hand-washed dishes • Sturdy once installed • Easy setup • Multiple pieces can be repurposed for your own kitchen layout (grilling utensils, etc.) Cons: • Towel bar placement may not work for every kitchen setup • Larger/heavier cups can fall off the cup hooks • I wish it came with a few more hooks for cleaning utensils Review: I absolutely love this over-the-sink drying rack. It turns what used to be completely unused space above my sink into something functional and organized. I don’t use the heat-dry setting on my dishwasher, so I always have items that need a little extra drying time. This rack has been perfect for that, and it also gives me a convenient place for anything I hand wash. Setup was simple and the frame feels very sturdy once it’s in place. The only part that didn’t work for my kitchen layout was the designated towel area, but I ended up using that bar to hang my grilling utensils while they dry, and it’s been even more helpful. The cup hooks are handy, but you do need to be careful with larger or heavier cups since those can slide off. Smaller cups and mugs stay put with no issues. Overall, a good product & meets expectations on size. It's actually a bit sturdier than I expected. Assembly was a bit awkward, but not terrible. I was careful to measure the space & order accordingly, so there were no surprises there. I do wish the baskets were a bit deeper & it was a bit more customizable, though. Some notes worth considering: - The bars that run along the back have a right way & wrong way. If you install them wrong you won't be able to use the baskets without taking it apart to right them. - The bottoms of the assembly screws are not smoothly finished & will mar the paint when they're tightened, so make sure everything is where it needs to be before tightening it all up. Maybe start out with the back bars set a little wider than you think you'll need them to be & then adjust them once you've got the unit in place. - Order the next size up if you're even close to the max size on width. The cross bars in back will be more stable. - The hooks are made to hang from the back bars & don't set securely on the baskets. - The back bars need to go behind the water faucet, so if you put something dripping wet on the hooks or in the baskets it's not going to keep the drips contained to the sink. - The cutting board holder goes to the outside, so will drip on the counter if left to air dry & is too small to hold a board much larger that a standard piece of printer paper. - The baskets are all pretty shallow, so not the most stable place for glass jars or tall items like dish soap, though plates & dishes that would be held upright by the basket base are held securely enough. - The cup holders are set too closely to use for our every day drinkware & angled in a way that makes me wary of putting anything breakable on them, though they could probably be bent into a better position. - If you have a side mounted sprayer, the bottom of a basket on the lower bar can make accessing it a challenge. - They do not appear to sell additional baskets or different width accessories for these units & the construction of it makes DIY- type options mostly impractical. When selecting your size, consider how wide the included baskets are & how the gaps will fall once the frame is set up. - It came with a single utensil holder & an insert to convert it to a knife holder. The holder is not as deep as the ones that came with the old fashioned side-of- sink dish drainer racks. That means I can have forks & spoons, etc OR securely held steak knives but not both. (The knife rest is not a practical holder for larger knives, for various reasons.) It is as described & meets my needs well enough, but there are a few points where it could be improved.
