This book serves it's purpose, which is to keep our accounts in order and make sure all the online apps, banks, etc are not missing anything. We like to account (GET IT?!) for all our expenses, so we're old school and do it with a pen and paper. So, it does a nice job for that-- there's space to write in check numbers, what the payment was towards, and the ledger balance. It has two colors and is 80 pages, so each book lasts a fair amount of time, depending, of course, on the monthly flow of your finances. All that said, what is this book and why do we keep purchasing it? At this price, it makes more sense to find a free pdf layout of the same thing and print it out and put it in a binder, or like someone else mentioned, draw a line in a regular notebook. In the olden days, you may want to hang on to these for a long time for tax purposes, etc. They can be shredded as soon as their filled now that there are digital records of everything. ... show more
