I wish I had seen these years ago. The lid keeps the airborne crap that gets into the garage from getting into the bucket when not in use. Nice to store some of the larger washing tools in the bucket and have them away from the same contaminants too. The seal provides the ability to take soapy water/clean water to a car wash bay in the winter, and that is a plus living in the mid-atlantic area. The grit guards do work. Seeing what gets trapped at the bottom of the buckets was startling. Buy 2 bucket combos for a 2 bucket wash and add the washboard attachment to the grit guard for the wash rinse bucket. Shipping was not an issue and came in a timely manner. I wanted something like this to keep the particulates on the bottom and not in the soap/water. Makes rinsing your rags easy peasy. It’s a 5 gallon bucket. But that little strainer thing in the bottom actually works. I’ve done a couple washes and I am surprised by the dirt and grime collected at the bottom. Can’t imagine that would have been good for the paint, but that little strainer does the job.

Works great for one-bucket ONR washes I do on my mid-size sedan. I know it’s just a bucket, but it’s heavy duty and it actually has a screw on lid with a seal. If you a mobile guy or want use it as storage when not being used for washing its great. Highly recommend this one
