I experimented buying all different car wash soaps over the years, so many really expensive ones would lose all their suds and bubbles after a few minutes and just not feel like they were really cleaning anything well. I decided try this soap and noticed a difference just in the way it poured out, noticeable thickness of the liquid, it really is super concentrated and a little bit will go a long way. So much bubbles it overflowed the water bucket with bubbles, so I had to adjust how much product to use and use less than maybe a tablespoon in a 3 gallon bucket. I could feel the soap on the wash rag, smells great, I noticed an improvement in the cleaning and shine with this soap. The car felt cleaner than any other soap I have tried, removed more grime and kept its foam and bubbles the whole time I was washing. I've recently converted over to Adams for a lot of my detailing chemicals. I've used Griot's Garage, Chemical Guys, and a few other brands, but I have really been impressed with the Adam's products. The bulk size saves a lot of money and plastic over the smaller sizes you find at the auto parts stores, so it only makes sense to stock up where you can. Love the smell and lubricity of the Adam's Car Wash Shampoo, and have even used it in my foam canon after running out of snow soap. Great product and the lower per unit price buying in bulk only makes it that much more of a value. ... show more

I use this soap on my 2024 Corvette Stingray and on my 2021 AMG Mercedes. I take good care of my cars and absolutely trust this shampoo. I typically apply it with a hose foam sprayer and I get a nice, thick layer of foam without using very much soap. It is concentrated, so a little goes a long way. It washes off easily and leaves a nice shine. With more stubborn dirt, some agitation is needed, but I have never been disappointed with this product. It also leaves the windows clean and without unsightly residue. You can spend more on this type of product, but I do not think it is necessary. ... show more

So what can you really write about soap... well, probably more than you would want to read here in the case of this car wash ("shampoo"). I'll try to keep this as brief as possible. Let me start with the only negative critiques I have for this product: there needs to be a dye and scent free version, and this soap is on the expensive side. There it is. What about the good? First of all, I bought this due to the fact there are too many automotive soaps that are not well-formulated to protect convertible tops, while still cleaning the other surfaces - and every thing I researched showed this was gentle on tops while still being an excellent cleaning agent. My research included numerous reviews, and information I received from the manufacturer. Too many car wash soaps have a lot of unnecessary ingredients that you should never apply to a soft top. In fact - most automotive soaps on the market are more marketing than cleaning agents. This particular automotive soap is simply a great cleaning agent that effectively removes what you don't want on your car, while protecting what you want left on your car (wax, finish treatment - etc). This soap provides the right amount of suds and cleaning action - better than any other automotive soap I have used before. I have used every other major high-end product currently available, but this is by far the best soap I have used to date. Even though it has some dye and some added scent - it seems they are less in proportion than other major brands. There is too much emphasis on how good a cleaning agent smells, or how pretty the color is, than how well it cleans. I would prefer there was no scent, or that the only scent was the unadulterated smell of the chemicals used to make the cleaning agents. I could care less if it was an unattractive color - as long as that was the 'natural' color of the cleaning agents. What I care about is how well it cleans and that it doesn't damage my finish or hurt my convertible top over time. It accomplishes the main functions very well. I would just like the version that doesn't have any unnecessary ingredients that are added for marketing. ... show more
