i bought this so i could practice doing my own nails instead of going every 2 or 3 weeks for a fill in. i intentionally bought this cheap set to practice & wasn't expecting it to be great quality. soooo .. here i go with my review. i wanted to start on my right hand for some reason, i guess so that i could get the hard part out of the way. i spent 3 hours the first night doing JUST MY RIGHT HAND! the white powder is hard to work with & it clumps up & dries pretty quickly. but i used that one so it would be easier to see what i was doing. well, i got them done & "sanded" down & went to bed. the next morning i was off work, so i did my left hand which went a LOT QUICKER! (less than half the time) mainly because i am right handed. - i used the forms on all of my nails & that took a little time to get used to but i made it work. i also bought an electric nail file when i bought the kit so that made shaping & smoothing SO MUCH EASIER! because just using a regular nail file would have taken another hour. the smell of the liquid is really strong & we did open a window while i was working on them. i do wish the brushes weren't so pointed, but i just cut the very tip point off of the #8 & it helped a little with spreading the bead. the clear & pink are a LOT BETTER consistency to work with than the white! DON'T START WITH WHITE! they seems to be better with moving the acrylic around & spreading it evenly. i practiced with all three colors on the box & the plasric of the forms. which is a good idea to do before trying it on yourself. ALSO, FILE DOWN THE WHOLE SURFACE OF YOUR NATURAL NAIL & WIPE WITH ALCOHOL BEFORE STARTING THE ACRYLICS! i think that might be why some people have issues with theirs popping off so quick. it needs to be completely dried out & no oil in the nail bed. i think for the money i paid this was a good set to start with. the next time that i buy some, i will go to Sally Beauty & spend the money for better quality. but i think this set will last me for quite a few fill ins or breaks that may happen. i'm satisfied but still need to work with it a little more to get used to it.

I will post an update once I use the kit but upon opening the smell is very strong I would recommend opening package in a well ventilated area. It says the brushes that come with are 8, 10 and 12. I got sizes 4, 8 and 12. I use size 10 so I was really banking on getting the brush size I was told I was getting.

Upon opening the package you are hit with an extreme scent, noxious, dizzing in fact. I understand monomer is smelly but this was beyond. Secondly, package is not well protected. While the box had minimal damage, it could have easily been crushed, causing the small glass inside to shatter. Also the brand isn’t anywhere to be found on the packaging? Next upon opening the box, i found the monomer had leaked into the package, outside of its bottle. The inner protective lid was not sealed and instead on the roof of the bottle. Speaking of the bottle, the quality reflects in the fact that what was supposed to say “professional” is misspelled as “ofessional”. Next is the brushes. While theyre fine for beginners, once again quality is reflected in the product. The brushes are number, and all the same length, yet the numbers do not line up straight. Along with that the handles are dented, scratched, and dirty. Next is the nail forms. I actually have few gripes with these. They will get the job done. They do however lack a strong stick, and arent the most flexible. Box also includes a small file, but does not list the grit. Next is the acrylic itself. My box came with white, pink, and clear. Two were protectively sealed, but white wasn’t. The protective seal was instead stuck to the roof of its cap. Upon testing the powders, I found that they are incredibly fast drying. Even with the biggest brush provided, it was difficult to pick up a decent sized bead. The color pink was gorgeous, the clear was hardly clear though, and in fact had a pearlescent effect to it. I will say i could not see through it since it was so cloudy. Lastly was the white color, which actually was rather nice. It had slight blue undertones, but that helps create a strong paper white. Lastly was the instruction manual. The Manuel covers all of their products, not specifically the one you bought, which can be confusing. On top of that, there are multiple grammar errors and spelling mistakes whoch once more create user confusion.

Do not buy this, even if you’re just a beginner trying to find cheap starter products. Extremely difficult to use. Just shell out the extra money for high quality acrylic powder. There’s only enough monomer to last about three sets.
