It's gotten really cold here this winter (you may be able to relate) and I threw away our old down comforter last spring because it was all bunched up in areas with no insulation in others. It gets cold upstairs in the bedroom with the door closed because this is an old house with no ductwork, just a space heater downstairs. I saw this for a great price and had to have it! It only took 2 days from ordering to delivery and I immediately put it on the bed sans duvet. At bedtime I pulled back the covers to get in and the sheets (flannel) were warm! Best night's sleep I've had in a week, without any weight that was even noticeable. The material is really soft, and as mentioned nearly weightless. Worth it's weight in gold. Still need to get a duvet but I'm sure if properly cared for this will last and be appreciated for years to come. 5+ stars

I am in love with this insert. I’m not quite sure if it’s down or not. It’s a bit confusing. It feels like down and it’s warm like down. I have thinner flannel sheets on my bed, this Insert in my duvet and that’s it. I keep my room at 66° at night, and I am warm. I usually have to have three blankets with my flannel sheets. It is so fluffy and makes my bed so nice and comfy looking. When I was first, pulling it out of the packaging it sounded a bit like a sleeping bag, and I was afraid it was going to be noisy, but it is not at all. The quality that is in the stitching is amazing and I love the dark cording around the edge. You can tell that they paid attention to the details. The two last pictures are an hour apart. You can see how much fuller it got.

This comforter is soft and comfortable. It comes shrink wrapped in a relatively small box. I unpacked it and spread out on the picnic table so it could loft and get some fresh air. It's much larger than the box it was shipped in indicates. It had tabs on the corners and sides for attaching a duvet. I can attest to this comforter being warm. I put a cotton duvet on it and put it on my bed. The power went out and the temperature dropped into the teens. I woke up to frozen dog water but I slept toasty warm. I am very happy with this product.
