    • Best go-to lure
Size: 1/4 oz. Color: Chrome
The Acme Kastmaster has always been my best go-to lure for ANY fish when the going gets tough. Fish bite this spoon when they aren't biting anything else.

    • Strike Magnet
Size: 1/2 oz. Color: Chrome Chartreuse
Went fishing for large trout from a local pier. This lure definitely works to get strikes but it can't keep a fish. The hooks need to be replaced with better size and strength.

    • Lives up to the name
Size: 3/8 oz. Color: Chrome Chartreuse Stripe
Sails through the air. Has nice, versatile action; looks good on several retrieve variations. I will buy another for my saltwater box as it would work well there too. I only casted it 20 or so times of the dock as a test. Nothing bit, but I am confident they would. Tempted to go with a little bigger hook, but not sure if it would mess up the action. ... show more

    • All hail the kastmaster
Size: 1/4 oz. Color: Gold
Review Image by Carlos Carlos
This is by far one of the most versatile lures you can have in your tackle box. Period. Whether it's casting, trolling, bouncing off the bottom, it can do it all. I have personally not noticed a difference between gold and silver ones but the latter have caught me trout in overcast/rainy days vs the gold one on sunny days. Given the weight on this thing you'll be able to launch it quite aways. I like to let it get to the bottom and then slowly bring it back (bank fishing). Whether it's freshwater or saltwater, this baby is a lure that you can rely on to perform time and time again. Use it with fluorocarbon, maybe a bit of scent, and you'll be catching trout for days. ... show more

    • Great bait especially for a windy day
Size: 3/4 oz. Color: Gold

Great spoon and great weight for a windy day. Love using it when bull reds are schooling. Can really get some distance with it as well. Super durable as well. Always have it tied on a pole when I head out on the boat.

    • Best jigging and casting lure I've used.
Size: 1/2 oz. Color: Chrome
I've used these lures for over 48 years; Long casting when properly matched to rod and reel. Quick retrieve is necessary as this will sink and snag on rocks if you fish in these areas. I've used the half ounce weight with medium gear however I'm anxious to use my heavier weight lures with surf rods. These lures are great in fresh water as well. Literally catches everything. Highly recommended. ... show more
