This stool does the job for what I need to get done. I have arthritis in my knees so I can no longer squat down or kneel. I am 5’3” so this stool is the perfect height for me to sit on and lean over to do gardening, painting, etc. It has a handle to carry it around. When you pick the stool by the handle it will automatically fold up in a slim position for easy storage. I used it only once so far and I am very pleased with this stool.

Living alone as a 5' person, this stool has been ESSENTIAL for getting to the top shelf. I already have a similar stool in a shorter height, but the 16 inch is game changing. I love that you can fold it and store it somewhere without taking up too much space. It is generally pretty sturdy, but I do feel like if you are on the heavier side, it may not feel that way: I have noticed that the part you stand on flexes a little. If I move to another place, I would consider getting one of the taller ones.

I needed a step stool that had a little extra height to use in my kitchen. I liked I could pick the height I needed and it's working great. I've had it several weeks now and I think all I did was unfold it from the packaging. I'm using it on vinyl flooring, so I did add some rubber adhesive strips to the legs to make sure it doesn't slip out from underneath me. I think it's very sturdy and great value for the money.
