I recently bought a 27" AIO computer. I use a dual monitor setup, but all my extra monitors were 24". I know you can do it, but it just didn't look right to me to have a 27" monitor paired with a 24" monitor, so I was on the lookout for a relatively inexpensive 27" monitor. Started out with an LG monitor at about the same price point. The problem was that the screen didn't line up with my AIO monitor. About 2 inches difference in the height from the bottom of the screen to the desk. Not a huge deal, but again, it just didn't look right to me, so then I was on the lookout for a 27" monitor with an adjustable height stand. This worked out perfect. I can adjust the height so the monitor lines up perfectly with my AIO monitor. Looks great. Screen quality is very good. Bright (adjustable) and crisp. Perfect for what I do (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, e-mail, videos and web surfing). Moving up from 24" to 27" screens doesn't seem like a big deal, but it really is. Makes a huge difference. 100mhz refresh rate is a nice little bonus, since most of the monitors at this price point have 60 or 75. Not a huge difference, but higher is better. There are several reviews about receiving units that wouldn't power up (DOA). I thought I had one too, but I didn't. The problem is that turning the monitor on is very unintuitive. There is a rocker switch that says power, so you would think that is how you turn on the monitor. It isn't. You have to turn the power on with the rocker switch, then you have to press another small, nearly hidden button to turn the monitor on. I was literally about to pack up the monitor and return it until I figured this out. I suspect that many of those who thought their monitor was DOA didn't realize it was a 2-step process to turn it on. Very confusing. Overall, this is a good monitor at a budget price point. I bought my first one on 2017 and a second in 2019 to expand my desktop set up. They've held up really well without issues and I recently bought my third one to create a 3 monitor set up. The bezel less design helps get a seamless feel from monitor to monitor. The colors are vibrant. The IPS panel prevents glare which makes working for extending periods of time easy on the eyes. I really like these for work. I can't attest to how they would work for gaming, but for an office environment they really can't be beat. The size is great, easy to set up and they work either horizontally or vertically. You can raise or lower them easily and the base is pretty stable. In my honest opinion this is a good monitor for videos, for gaming I feel like the refresh rate is a bit low. This monitor would be a great beginner monitor for gaming but when you want clearer, smoother gaming its better to aim for a higher refresh rate. The colors are good, the price is amazing. I tried different 32" and 27" monitors and ended up with this one. It is a solid little monitor for the price and I like how easy and fast it is to get to the brightness to adjust throughout the day. Stand is useful too. If I was gonna buy a new one again I'd either go 24" on 1080p or probably more likely get 27" and drop a little more for 4k instead, but this thing works good for my trading and still great for watching movies and videos and still has a solid picture. ... show more

I use this as a second monitor and it was easy to set up. The box came with the hardware to do this. The screen holds its tilt and height, no sliding around. I use this monitor to watch Netflix, Hulu and Viki since I like K-dramas and the rest of the family doesn't. My family has banished me and all shows in Korean to the office. Hence, my need for a decent monitor for streaming. The picture quality on this monitor is actually way better than I thought it would be. HD DVDs look good, the sound quality is fine, and the screen is large enough to read subtitles easily. The picture is nice and bright. This is second CB272 monitor I bought from Amazon. First monitor I bought almost 2 hrs ago DOES NOT have frameless look (screen doesn't extend all the way to the edges as some of reviewers described here) but this second monitor does extend its screen all the way to the edges achieving that frameless look. I bought the second unit to match the first one as dual monitor setup but height of the monitor is decreased by about 1/4 inch. Also newer ones screen is slightly brighter and I can't seem to match it even with changing the brightness or contrast settings. Same model but slightly different. ... show more
