  • Elegant beast. 3D Vision. Zero crosstalk.
Took pictures to clear up the whole 3D Vision aspect. Need DP 1.2 capable Nvidia Card, DP cable comes with. Monitor arm is very solid built, so smooth and effortless, goes down very low (exposing top of stand arm). *** Important *** 3D vision NCP settings: G-Sync OFF, Monitor Technology = Fixed rate, V-Sync = ON. Win 7: Just worked like it was the old DL DVI VG248 Asus. Straight into Nvidia Control Panel (NCP), Stereo 3D, Test 3D - works. Dark Souls 3 (Helix modded) works! And ... Killing Floor 1!!! (but not on Win 10) Win 10: Couple of hiccups; unlike Win 7, the G-Sync was enabled by default in NCP, and Helix 3D fix had to be enabled / but would not pass 3D Wizard. 452.06 driver did work eventually after a coombination of reboots and NCP options. Games tested: Doom Ethernal (vulcan), DS3, Evil Within 2, Shadow Warrior 2, - full stereoscopic 3D! *** 2 next day edit: Anti-glare screen, much same experience as other Acer, has a noticeable square pattern to it, that once you see - YOU CAN NOT UNSEE EVER AND EVER AGAIN. Trying to meditate... Debating the whole "soak for 6 hours / remove screen / apply better aftermarket screen protector/anti-gloss thingy... Why? Why?! Why would you think we would not notice the squares pattern? We notice pixel's worth of image differences and write reviews based on them (this gfx option vs that gfx option). Still a great monitor. ... show more

  • Monitor not meant for longevity
Don't expect longevity past 1-2 years of these monitors. Much like several other reviews, after the first year or two, the panels will blow out of nowhere and will start to flicker on one side or the other, or go completely blank. I ordered three, and I've now had to replace two of them in the last three months. Waiting on the third to go at this point. ... show more

  • Best 1080p monitor
Definitely my favorite 1080p monitor. I have 2 of these now and the 144hz refresh rate looks amazing.

  • Screen turned completely white, broke after 2 years.
Monitor turned completely white while is was just sitting there. Its not my graphics card. The screen is straight white when it is not plugged in to my computer. I tried unplugging it and holding the power button to reboot it, nothing is working.

  • Great till it popped 1 year later. Then again 6 months after repair.
Worked great till 1 year later. Now when it turns on I get white black flashing left to right and no image. Will have to put in support ticket to try and get it repaired. I payed $80 to return it to repair, and it worked for another 6 months then got color displaying issues seen in 2nd pic. Reduced it to 1 star. This is terrible. ... show more

  • i like it
ive had it for 2 years havnt had any problems. i have it overclocked to 170hz so that a nice feature. if i had to pick something i didnt like, it would be the speaker quality. cell phones have more depth than this thing. its a bit heavy but i dont mind. should be atleast 50 dollors cheaper imo. price hasnt changed much since i bought it. overall its good it does its job well and you can even squeeze a little extra, i would recommend if you are willing to spend 500 on a moniter ... show more
