  • Xbox Series X 1440p 120hz
Size: 27-inch WQHD Style: WQHD Pattern: Monitor
I play on an Xbox series x and I was looking to upgrade from my 1080p monitor to 1440p without it losing 120hz (for the games that run it). After connecting this monitor to my series x, I struggled to figure out how to get 1440p and 120hz. It wasn’t until I changed my Xbox “display option” setting from “HDMI” to “Auto-Detect” that I was finally able to get 120hz working with 1440p. So far, the monitor has been great! Playing warzone looks and feels better. Will update if anything changes. ... show more

  • Excellent monitor, great price
Size: 27-inch Style: FHD (1920 x 1080) Pattern: Monitor
If you're looking for a new monitor, I couldn't recommend this more highly. Going from 144hz to 240hz feels like as big of a leap as going from 60hz to 144hz. The curve is nice, the base is adjustable, and I've never had any issues with it. I scratched it at one point, but certainly not the monitor's fault. ... show more

  • One of the monitors for the price.
Size: 27-inch Style: FHD (1920 x 1080) Pattern: Monitor
This is one of the best monitors I have owned. I use my pc primarily for gaming and playing games on my ps5. This monitor has the ability to go up to 244hz refresh rate. It has some of the clearest and crisp graphics out of some of the other competitors on the market. With it being a curved monitor is makes it so that you don’t miss an inch of gaming. You have the capability for using hdmi or display port and it offers you two high resolution ports for your hdmi cables. This is by far one of the best monitors on the market and for the price it can’t be beat. ... show more

  • The best ultrawide on the market right now.
Size: 34-inch Style: WQHD (3440 x 1440) Pattern: Monitor
First off, I have to hand it to Acer for shipping their monitors in proper shipping boxes. The box this monitor shipped in was not fancy looking with all sorts of slick graphics but it was made out of very thick and sturdy cardboard. Once you got the box open (it was not easy), you are greeted with two very large pieces of Styrofoam that each take up one full side of the box. These are thick and very solid pieces of Styrofoam and the monitor is cradled in the middle of them. You would really have to be a negligent delivery driver to somehow damage this monitor. Acer really knew what they were doing when they designed their shipping boxes. My Amazon driver was great though and my box didn't have even a slight mark anywhere on it. It is relatively simple to attach the monitor to its base (if you are not utilizing a vesa mount) but you will need a standard Phillips head screw driver to attach the arm to the back of the monitor (4 screws) The arm attached to the heavy metal (covered by plastic) base and there is a large thumb screw on the bottom of thee base that you can easily tighten by hand. If you are going to use the included arm and base and not a vesa mount, you can rest easy that the monitor is securely sitting in place on the mount. The base unit is not only heavy but it is also a large piece that isn't going anywhere on its own. It would take a very substantial earthquake to topple this monitor and I sort of doubt the monitor can be toppled over with that large base it has. Your home or office would probably come down on top if the monitor before the monitor toppled over. I have seen some reviews where people received their new monitor and it had dead pixels or small scratches in the display that were very noticeable when it was powered on. My monitor arrived in perfect working order. No dead pixels and no scratches what so ever. I hooked mine up using the display port and there was very little setup required. My AMD graphics card recognized that the monitor had Freesync Premium and it enabled that by default. Since I had hooked it up via the display port, the refresh rate was 144Hz out of the box and has stayed at 144Hz all of the time. The implementation of HDR is more like some mad experiment than actual HDR but it does give you some of the benefits of HDR and while it is not full blown HDR, it is still better than not having it. I left that setting set to Auto and I do appreciate the games that take advantage of it. The overall picture quality is quite good. It looks really nice and friends are very impressed but I think that is more because of the size of this beast than anything else. The brightness of the display is adequate but I am finding that I am keeping the brightness set around 85% to 90% which leaves very little headroom for brightness. It is situated in my home where it will never have direct sunlight washing over the screen so I don't thing brightness (or lack thereof) will ever be an issue for me but if you are considering purchasing one of these monitors, keep in mind that direct sunlight might make it unusable in your home while the sunlight is directly hitting the display. If you can place it where the sun doesn't shine, that would be ideal. My only other small complaint has to do with its brilliant innovation. Instead of having a poer button and then 3 or 4 more other buttons to navigate and select options from the on screen menu, this monitor has a single little joystick on the bottom right hand side of the display. You push it in (or upwards) to turn on the monitor and the same motion but then holding in for 5 seconds turns off the monitor. Once turned on, pushing the joystick upwards into the case will activate the menu and that is also how you highlight and select menu items. You move the joystick left, right, forwards and backwards to navigate through the menu system. The really is a brilliant way of solving the problem of not being able to read which button does what on systems that have lots of buttons. It would be especially a pain in the rear if the buttons were on the bottom side of the monitor like the joystick is because it would be very hard to read which button did which function. While the little joystick idea is brilliant, the implementation is not so much. The joystick has play in it and it is easy to accidentally move it in a direction when trying to press it upwards to make a selection. It gets very frustrating when trying to make a menu selection to have the menu highlight jump over to the next item just before making the selection. It took me over 3 minutes to go from the HDMI1 input to the DP1 input. OVER 3 MINUTES! That is insanity. As I am getting used to the quirks of the little joystick I am getting better at properly making selections with it but it is always going to be something you have to be very deliberate with how you are handling it. It is a small complaint though and I will adjust to it so it is not a deal breaker by any means for me. This monitor does so much very well and only has a possible brightness issue (if it will be in sunlight at anytime of the day) and the little freaking joystick issue. Those are very small issues considering how well everything else on this loaded beast works. Just keep in mind that 34 inches is huge when it is only two feet from your face. This monitor truly is a beast! ... show more

  • Perfect Value with the Best Stand
Size: 27-inch Style: FHD (1920 x 1080) Pattern: Monitor
Perfect price point for a 27in 240hz monitor that comes with HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.4. Love the low profile stand. All the other brands seem to have embraced the large open legs I guess, but I really needed a stand that doesnt take too much space. Also love that the monitor can easily move up and down, tilt up and down and also rotate. I doubt the other fancy brands even offer this much versatility. Thank you Acer. I needed this monitor for living room use (while my pc is in my bedroom), so i got myself a 30ft DP cable (Capshi Long DisplayPort Cable 30FT, 8K DP Cable 1.4) and I'm getting the full 240hz refresh rate while gaming. The speakers are crap though, definitely use your own speakers or headphones. ... show more

  • great 1st monitor to build a stack
Size: 34-inch Style: QHD 165Hz Pattern: Monitor
Monitor was priced right for me to test a new desk set-up---- screen image is amazing. Have it mounted on a mount stand for multiples and as others have said--the screw extenders work for the mount plate, but really the design should just have the screw holes like most monitors. SO far, I love it.
