This is for the 4k 144hz version. It has excellent colors and contrast, it's very similar to an OLED type screen but obviously not as good. The TN panel looks better in a lot of scenes than an IPS. For under $500 you really cannot go wrong with this. However, it is not the highest quality, but this should be expected. The PPI could be better and color accuracy can be off. The panel is fast but it's not the clearest, so if you're playing fast paced FPS then you'll notice the ghosting. In a couple years this will be going for under $200, just like the other 2k 165hz monitors. For reference about 6 years ago I paid $900 for my 2k 165hz monitor, and it still beats out the quality of newer monitors with the same specs and features. Size is great, speakers are decent, and it's great for productivity or high quality graphic gaming. ... show more

    • Exactly what I was expecting.
It does everything it claims to do. well worth the price I paid at the time. One thing I didn’t expect was to not have to manually swap inputs when going from one console to the other. Nice surprise for sure. You’ll need to put the monitor on HDR mode right away. Update 2 months later- dead pixel ( at least a pixel has been stuck on green if not dead) acer customer support advised use Jscreen test to fix the fix. Ran it for an hour and no improvement. They won’t repair/replace for a single pixel issue. ... show more

Even tho it’s pricey, it’s worth it. I play on console. I have been looking for a monitor that will push the console at 4k and 120hz at the same time for awhile that’s affordable . This one was the cheapest I can find. Yes it’s a little larger then most but I got adjusted and slayed them warzone lobbies. Best purchase I’ve made. The picture looks amazing. The size difference was very satisfying! At the same time, the screen brightness wasn’t very bright compared to others. However, for my uses, it’s good enough. The product is great and has worked well for me. The refresh rate is also good and the 4K resolution is clean.

I was late setting this monitor up or I would sent this monitor back. Worse picture I have seen on a monitor and it still only gets 60 fps. picture is dark and no brightness settings to bring this up. Do not buy one of these big wast of money.

    • 4K. 144HZ. 1MS. This is as good as it gets.
My first Acer monitor lasted 20 years. You don't need more than this. Coming from 2K @ 165hz, the change in clarity is pretty minor, but noticeably better. The refresh rate feels just fine. 4K gaming at last.

This monitor is not a bad monitor at all its just that its not really for gaming the ghosting is pretty bad especially in fast fps games would recommend for editing and other work but not gaming.
