If you aren't a huge stickler for picture quality, this is a good monitor at around $260. I wouldn't pay much more than that. It goes on sale regularly for that price. I use 2 currently. My second one did need to be replaced by Amazon. There was a screw bouncing around inside the casing, and the screen panel itself was clearly not fully seated into the casing of the monitor. Though everything was visually OK, I was not willing to accept that. Don't expect frills of a more expensive monitor, such as USB ports, etc. ... show more

I was happy to get this monitor for my home office and to do some Xbox gaming on it. When it worked it looked great! But right out of the box after a few minutes the right side of the screen would get a black stripe and stop displaying the image (see pictures I included in the review). I tested this with two PCs, an Xbox, and multiple display cables which all displayed the issue. I decided to go through Acer support to repair the monitor rather than just returning to Amazon. But after 2 weeks of waiting for the monitor to come back they returned it to me with a note that they tested it multiple times over 24 hours but was unable to reproduce the issue. I plugged it back in and sure enough 3 minutes later the black line is still there. So now I'm sending it back to Amazon and will have to find a different brand. Glad others are having positive time with their monitors though. ... show more
