I have the "$2,000" ASUS PG27UQ side by side with the Acer VG272. The Acer gets VERY close to the color/contrast performance of the Asus. For those of you who are worried that the IPS 240 might be fake, don't worry, it's not fake. Is it as fast as the 240hz TN panels? I don't think so, but it feels very close to that. There is a clear difference in motion clarity going from the 120hz Asus 4K to the 240hz Acer. Initially, I wanted a 1080p screen for the Switch that could also give me 240hz for Windows 10, but must have decent picture quality for my job. I went through three monitors trying to find something that checked all the boxes. I'm impressed Acer... I'm impressed. The 4/5 stars for Picture Quality is because it's 1080p. If you beat everyone to the market with a 1440p IPS 240hz, you are going to sell every last monitor. ... show more

Monitor is great for an IPS at 240hz. Small noticeable motion blur when moving your mouse fast in FPS games like escape from tarkov, but again for an IPS not too bad. Not as fast as a TN 144hz or 240hz panel but useable for gaming. The brightness is great on this monitor. I am a casual gamer and not a professional. Only con about the monitor is the power button placement on the monitor. You have to hit the button below it for settings and it sits way too close. I turn the monitor off too many times just to adjust the brightness when on desktop vs gaming. Otherwise can’t beat it! ... show more

Keep shopping there has got to be a better monitor for the price, I Purchased this monitor for Warzone, my previous monitor was 60fps, the color saturation seemed better on my previous monitor but my gameplay is definitely smoother on the Acer. Honestly I just think its Over Priced for what features it has. I will note, there were no dead pixels on arrival, minor screen flicker when I Initially increased the FPS to 240 which was fixed with driver update I believe! -Good luck n Love ... show more
