  • Solid monitor for anyone (I'm not a gamer)
Style: 75Hz Size: 27-inch WQHD
I'm a software architect and my needs for ergonomic equipment, great displays, and capable PCs (MacBookPro) are significant. I had an Asus IPS 1440p previously which was a great monitor. But I stopped into a Staples store and saw a curved monitor (1500R) and was hooked. I can't describe the transformation that you undergo in how you interact with the display. Yes, the experience is more immersive. I was looking at 1000R or 1500R and felt that 1500R, like this monitor, was a good balance for non-gaming situations. It took about 3-4 days to get used to. And interestingly it felt better to use for personal browsing before I grokked the benefits for technical work. Yes, a VA (vertically aligned) panel is just slightly not as vibrant or 'oomph' factor as IPS. But you can adjust the monitor very nicely and get very close to IPS. This monitor is a great value and there is not much to be concerned about. I'd say the only thing that may through you is the base legs. All curved monitors have legs that come out and forward to balance monitor so it does not fall forward. So this may bring some rearrangements for you on your desktop. You will need an area of 16" wide, 9" deep, and 4-6" height to bring the monitor up to a very usable eye level, assuming a standard desk height. I got mine at $159.99 in early June 2023 and it has reenergized my work and productivity. Recommended. ... show more

  • Seriously.... again
Style: 165Hz Size: 23.6-inch
I really wish in the description for monitors and such they were forced to show the controls. Whoever thought 1 toggle to do all things was a good idea is a bad person. They're bad!... Toggle's are so weak and cheap... I miss having individual buttons that let me select what hdmi/input I want, or a simple power button. Or a menu button that has arrows. This 1 push/down/down/push/left/down. etc.. It's a monitor. not a game controller.. Other than that gripe. Great monitor for the money. I only gave it a 4/5 for pic quality and screen quality because I have an older video card so I'm not able to push this thing to it's limits but so far.. amazing... ... show more

  • New fav monitor
Style: 165Hz Size: 23.6-inch
The media could not be loaded. Barely any ghosting. Done with a 30fps camera so it doesnt look as good on cam compared to real life. When your fps drops the ultimate smoothness stays (my experience when going from 144fps down to high 80s) thanks to freesync premiums low framerate compensation. The response time is added in the picture which is instant. 1080p looks great as I've been using my 4k tv as a monitor for a few months, pixel per inch or pixel density matters more than resolution. Example a 24 inch 1080p monitor provides the same image quality as a 50 inch 4k tv because they are both within 90 ppi. Great monitor overall but customize the colors because they are way off out of the box. Yes curve screens are great and save your eyes from tiring out at 4+ hrs of screen time. Only downside is when you need to use 60hz there is alot of ghosting so buy the 60hz or 100hz version instead if you cant average 144fps 99% of the time. Has 120/144/165 hz in windows display options. Va contrast makes it seem as your looking at a quantum dot tv due to va providing accurate colors, your colors are rich and accurate and wont get ips glow.... Dark scenes are beautiful again and bright scenes wont blind you. Has a dark boost so you can look at extremely dark scenes or that camper in camo gear in buildings with no lighting such as in tarkov or cod ... show more

  • Great monitor at this price.
Style: 75Hz Size: 27-inch WQHD
I have used Acer monitors for years and this one is not a disappointment. Fantastic screen size and resolution. I would recommend finding the model on Acer's site and downloading the specific icm color profile for it and set it to default. The default color controls are just fine but I am a bit picky about things like that, and now it really pops. I would recommend this monitor. ... show more

  • This is the best purchase of my gamin setup
Style: 165Hz Size: 23.6-inch
Iโ€™ve been upgrading my gaming setup recently from buying a new chair l, a new controller and a monitor. I play on Xbox and to my surprise apparently this monitor supports 4k at 60 fps despite no mention of it in the description despite whether this is a mistake or not I was surprised about how amazing this monitor is at the price. The high refresh rate and 1 ms response time is amazing for games like r6 and apex which I play. I would highly recommend this monitor for anyone looking to step up their gaming setup! ... show more

  • A Solid 24โ€ Curved LCD Monitor, for Gaming on Budget
Style: 165Hz Size: 23.6-inch
So far I am really happy with this product. Was gaming on my laptops 15โ€ screen, and this is a temporary upgrade to hold me over until I can save up the money to buy something sick for my gaming set up..

  • Solid monitor for the price.
Style: 165Hz Size: 23.6-inch
I was a bit worried about the monitor because of the other reviews, but I've had it for a month or two at this point and haven't had any issues with it so far. My biggest concern with the monitor is that a few reviews were saying the monitor was 120hz at max using an HDMI cable. However, using the HDMI cable included with the monitor on my laptop, I could get all 165hz. Good quality screen, I haven't experienced anything weird with the screen. My only issues with the monitor are minor design things I find a bit annoying. The cables stick right out instead of straight down, which means I can't really put it against the wall that well. Another thing is the weird button on the back you have to use to navigate the menu. Not only is it in a weird spot, it sucks to use it. Finally, this monitor doesn't have a speaker, which is fine 'cause I didn't buy a monitor for the speaker. Unfortunately, it also doesn't have a aux connector thing so you can't plug a speaker directly into the monitor. This isn't such a big deal since I'm usually using earphones on my computer, but I also like to connect my switch to this monitor and the switch dock ALSO doesn't have a thing to connect my earphones to, so I don't get any sound while playing on switch. Overall, great monitor with small flaws. I very much recommend it. ... show more

  • Pretty good for the price
Style: 75Hz Size: 23.6-inch
The media could not be loaded. It was really good and I got it on sale it has a nice curve on it itโ€™s pretty and quality is good the only thing I dislike is it not having speakers and the button on the back to navigate it but overall it was easy to assemble just attach the pieces
