Never had an acer monitor as I never really liked their price to performance. Finally quit competitive games and so decided to buy a 29in ultrawide. I did usually use 240-280hz and so I didnt want a monitor under 144hz as it would just feel horrible in some games. Went from a 1920x1080 to this 2560x1080 and the games definitely look better and the frames from my 4060 did fine in higher settings in most games. the better looking games were definitely TLOU2 and Minecraft with BSL Shaders, while still getting well above 60fps average. Such a beautiful build quality monitor. Screen size is too good to be true. Color accuracy destroys my other monitor even on the lowest settings. Uhh, im in love. Needed a bigger screen to stream and have it all in one screen cause i hate looking back and forth. No shadowing in the game and no screen tearing at 200fps. Overall very satisfied. Happy birthday to me!
