  • Image looked like trash
I have a laptop with just over 720P display(1366x768 pixels) that looked crystal clear compared to this purported 1080p display. Everything became blocky and headache inducing to look at. I got it as a secondary display mainly for Discord and Chrome while playing games. I cemented that I was returning it when I decided it was better to turn off the display instead of keep it on with that "quality". On the bright side its brightness was not bad, less than my primary but not bad. It was cheap as well, prime day deal for 30 off so I thought worth it for a secondary monitor. I pray mine was just messed up since others said it has great image quality. Below I am listing the product I purchased since you often get other products by the same company appearing in reviews. • Malfunctioned rigth out of the box
I don't write many negative reviews, in fact this is the first. But this was without question the worst "out of the box" product experience I have ever had. Upon first being energized, the picture was "striated" and broken. The unit did not display any obvious damage, but something clearly went wrong. On the positive side, I asked for a call from Amazon support, and the support agent was very helpful. She was not able to resolve the issue, and I asked for a refund, which they offered without question. Not sure what else to say, I know others have had good experiences with this model. Perhaps I just got a defective one, or it sustained some damage in shipping, but this item was not even usable, let alone not up to standard. ... show more

  • BE AWARE of the limitations of a VA panel
I Brought this to "replace" my old Acer S240HL. as my main. The KB272HL Does have great colors, blinding brightness in my fairly dark room, but BE AWARE, a VA panel has ghosting. epically on dark scenes. Metal Gear Solid 2 HD version on my PS3 is unplayable. GTA V is hard to play if its night time as the entire screen just becomes a blurry mess. Text on a black background becomes a blurry mess if you wiggle it around. My monitor is even worse as it was green "trails" following objects if dark. for general use its great and the 75Hz does make a noticeable difference in games and even general moving windows around the screen If your after a gaming panel, take it from me, spend the extra for an IPS or stick to a TN. ... show more

  • Amazing for the pricepoint
I bought two of these to upgrade off of a hodgepodge pairing of monitors I got through garage sales. After spending a half hour trying to get everything mounted (which is not the fault of the monitors), I have to say that I am pretty impressed. Pros: Very light Very bright Clear and crisp image For the price, you can't beat it Cons: Only comes with a VGA cable (come on Acer, what are you doing?), so you need your own HDMI (or in my case DP/HDMI) cable Power and Menu buttons are on the back, which makes them inaccessible when mounting two monitors next to each other There is this really weird 3D effect along the edges of the monitor. It's not really noticeable during normal use, but it can be noticed if you look right at it. ... show more

  • Good monitor for many needs
This monitor is really nice. I needed a second one and I wanted one the same size as my previous one so I got this one since my old one isn't sold anymore. The picture quality is wonderful and the no-glare is also great. The glare isn't too bad at all and I game right by a bright window. This monitor is decent for gaming unless you want over 60 FPS. However, I'm content with 60 FPS which is why I was fine getting an inexpensive monitor with a 60 refresh rate. This monitor is huge so if you're only getting one monitor, this is a good choice. ... show more

  • Great Monitor for everyday use
This is a great monitor for home or office. I do not game so cannot comment on that. I purchased 3 of these on lighting deals. They are great monitors and on sale cost less than a 24" monitor of the same brand and series. This27" monitor greatly eases eye strain when working on documents, spreadsheets, or e-mails. ... show more

  • Second Monitor for GIS Work
I have a smaller second monitor of this same brand for my work. When my husband began working from home full time he borrowed my monitor quite often. He works with GIS software, so I got him a second monitor that is bigger than mine so working with maps is easier. I am pleased with my own from this brand, so I thought getting a bigger one from the same brand was a safe bet. It's been great; he really enjoys it. The monitor itself sets up very easily. I just wish that it came with a HDMI double-ended cord since it is HDMI compatible. It doesn't, but one of those cords is about $6 at Walmart. Overall it's a great monitor and great for the price. I would recommend it to anyone. ... show more

  • It's a monitor
Good quality and very light. screen size is almost to the very edge. clean and low profile. Would definitely get this again. Combined with a micro PC which hangs very conveniently on the back of the monitor on 2 pegs. Black Friday gem for around $100.
