I have a really nice monitor and only bought this so I could use it as a second monitor. The picture quality on this monitor is noticeably worse than the nice monitor. Not a bad product though.

Was looking for an inexpensive monitor to use as an additional display for my laptop. Plugged it in, turned on my laptop, and it worked perfectly. Not using it for FPS gaming, so I cannot speak to that, but it is fine for youtube videos, spreadsheets, etc.

    • NOT FOR GAMING OF ANY SORT!!!
These are junk for any use beyond simple home work. Gaming, videos, anything graphically intense, they are complete junk. I'm really surprised Acer would produce something like this, I've used the brand for years. I ordered two and one had screws dropping out of the box and you can hear one rolling around the inside of the monitor. Both have horrendous color but I'm only using mine for a home office so color reproduction and response are not at all important. If had I any other use for these at all, both would have been sent back. I did notice if you set them to "Graphics", they are decent and can be used for home office work. ... show more
