Description

ACDelco Professional Condensers are heat exchangers typically located in front of the engine radiator and are a high quality replacement for many vehicles on the road today. The condenser dissipates heat absorbed by the refrigerant from the evaporator and from the compressor to the outside air. Hot refrigerant gas passes through tubes, where heat is removed, causing it to turn into a liquid. The air flowing through the fins carries the heat away. These Professional, premium aftermarket replacement condensers are manufactured to meet your expectations for fit, form, and function.Fitment Notes: Components Included: Transmission Oil Cooler; Configuration: Parallel Flow Condenser (PFC).

  • Worked
Ordered this for our 2016 GMC Sierra. Husband was able to easily install it himself (he does have knowledge on working with cars) and it seems to be doing its job so far.

  • Fits 2015 cadillac escalade 6.2L V8
Replaced the old condenser just fine. I watched a few YouTube videos on removing the old condenser from a truck and a video from Tahoe. Both videos helped me locate all the bolts to remove and replace the condenser. Very easy to install.

  • Working great 15 GMC 1500
Great for the known defect in this trucks evap coil. Its a $1500 repair. There are class action suits, good luck. But if you have the know how this is the right part. Make sure you r truck has the tow package with integrated cooler on top of evap coil. It's a couple hour job. I'm a HVAC tech so I could do it all myself. But you might need one to recharge it the right way. Part fit great. Connections in all the right places. Only thing, original had black coating on it. This one does not. I don't care or really notice it. But just in case your picky. ... show more

  • Air works again
Great quality part, I’d certainly go with this versus a no-name replacement for $20 less

  • It works but there are better options
Used it to swap my condenser that had a failed top weld. It’s very apparent that this issue is a major flaw and is a widespread problem for all 5.3L GM engines. This worked on my Sierra but I am not very pleased with how it was shipped. If I wasn’t in a hurry to get it done I problem would have asked that a replacement be shipped to me. But the one I got held a vacuum and I am constantly traveling so I rolled with it. The issues I had with this particular condenser is that the bottom two refrigerant lines that turn in at a 90degree angle on the bottom left were bent back in shipping. This made it not line up with the plastic bracket to connect it to the radiator. I didn’t want to chance bending them back and causing damage so I installed as is. So it is slightly sketchy that I am unable to have this bracket holding these lines snug. Also the side plastic pieces that you have to pull off of your stock condenser and set back on it this condenser did not fit perfectly. I had to force them in place. The other issues are that it came with a very slight bow in the whole thing from shipping. This is more of a cosmetic thing. It still fit fine. And also it shipped with one minor dent in the fins. The positive thing is that there is some minor reinforcement on this to prevent the failed weld issue that occurs on the stock condensers. If you want to replace your condenser for a cheap price this is okay and will work and hopefully will not have failed welds. But there are definitely better alternatives out there. Side note get you a couple beers when you do this. It’s a very frustrating process. Taking the top frame off above the condenser is not simple. ... show more

  • Works like a dream
Saved myself alot of money pulling my condenser myself. I'm pleasantly surprised that this fit my 14 Silverado and wasn't improperly labeled. It's been holding and running perfect for about 6 weeks now. I'd buy again.

  • Wrong Fittings for Transmission Line
2017 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE 4x4. The product is supposed to be OEM but I’m having some doubts about it. It does fit and it does resemble the original condenser I pulled out but the transmission line fittings are wrong. I had to pull the fittings from the old condenser and put them on the new “OEM” one. It seems the chamfer on the new part wasn’t matching the old one. Also, with the poor weld job on the new part, I had a tough time getting the plastic to attach to the sides of the condenser. I’m pulling a vacuum now and will update this review after. ... show more

  • Worked for 12 days.
Item showed up in really nice packaging. Had a small indent in the top of the condenser, but I had already taken the truck apart so I put her in anyway. I was pretty impressed! With the packaging. Installed it in a couple hours and added refrigerant. AC blew cold for 12 days. Went to start the truck this morning and the ac was blowing warm again. Also it’s not the same as pictured above, I don’t even know if it is a Delco part. I’m going to see if I can get another and try again. ... show more
