Pros: - perfect for an academic year, and those who deal with a calendar based upon one - compact size fits into medium + size bags - extra organizational pages for tracking and summarizing expenses, notes, phone numbers, etc. See photos for details - envelope to capture receipts - pen holder - book marks, tabs, and corner tear-offs to make navigating the calendar more efficient - solid binding - color varieties make it easier to find the appropriate year when it is necessary to look back - hard cover looks formal and professional Cons: - as with any smaller agenda book, there is a trade-off for this portability. I have always found that calendars that are split into 15 minute increments (instead of the 30 that you have in this book) make me more efficient with my time. Most breaks are no more than 15 minutes, and most ordinary tasks take no more than that (even studying is best done in small bites and then switching up the topic of study, as this aids in memory). So it is not a con that is specific to this manufacturer, and I chose this style because now that I am retired, I can be more relaxed with my time. - the year is not listed on the spine (it is on the front). I'll likely add it to the spine with a sharpie once it goes to the archive shelf so that I can find it quickly when needed - there is a page for passwords. Nobody is forcing you to use it, and perhaps some really need to have them written down. IDK, if someone grabs my handbag I would not want them to have both my phone and my passwords, just saying! - hardcover is not going to flex in yhoru bag. That may not matter; consider your preferences. Summary: Taken together, this is a solid choice for an agenda book. I love this organizer. It has a really nice soft cover. It has a compact size. It is slightly larger than my old one but it still works well for taking it with you to the office or having it around the house. The pages are nice heavy bond paper. The calendar starts with July and ends with June so you get a whole year but it is designed mostly for a scholastic year rather than a fiscal year. Which is exactly what I needed. The pages start out with month at a glance so that you can write brief notes for your month ahead then following that you have pages that contain the individual Monday through Friday columns with appointment times starting at 7am and going all the way to 8pm. The Saturday and Sunday days don't have time slot but they do give you a space on the right for these two days so that you can write notes for them. It has a pen or pencil holder on the side. It comes with two page marker ribbons so that you can easily find any place in your calendar you wish to mark. It has an expense tracker at the end and a section for notes, memos and future planning. Also at the very beginning you have a list of all the holidays so that you can make necessary notes if needed. It also has a pocket at the very end for any receipts you may want to keep track off. Overall a great product to help keep you organized throughout the school year.
