I bought three different paddleboards on Prime Day. This was the most expensive, but WOW, was it impressive when it arrived. First of all, the backpack that comes with it seems truly well-constructed, strong seams, sturdy fabric, lots of good straps, easy to load and includes a smaller front pocket. This is the heaviest and largest board I bought, so the strong backpack was a real plus! The board inflated easily in under 15 minutes using the double action pump -- far less time than the electric sup pump I bought. Board was sturdy, and the kayak seat was a pretty great bonus for my friend who wasn't sure about standing. She said it was super comfortable. Board was nice and wide and had the bungee cords on it to hold things, seat had a handy pouch to store things. Assembly was super easy. Deflating was simple, and the nice backpack made packing it back up a breeze. My only complaint was that the pressure gauge on the pump didn't seem to work. We pumped until it was hard as a rock and we couldn't even push down anymore, but it only read 12 psi. I was afraid the thing was going to blow up if we kept trying. Not sure how to remedy this -- maybe a tire gauge?? It paddled great!

My 10 year old paddled around like a champ on this SUP. It's good quality, extra tread on the top for extra support and it's a bit wider to help with balance!!

First off if you’re cruising around a still body of water you have nothing to worry about. The board is solid as it gets. Only problem I’ve had is I took it down the river and hit a rock. Figured a fin would break no big deal but the receiver that holds fins is what broke. So now the board no longer can hold the main fin, it just slides out. Going to try and fix it, just wish it was stronger than fins so I can keep replacing those and not having to replace the board.

The media could not be loaded. Let me start off by saying this board was good, while it was inflated. I bought the board in September, used it a couple times, and put it away for the fall/winter October. No leaks at this point. I took it out in June, inflated it, noticed some leaks in the seams. Which makes me think the glue they use is not meant to last very long, since it came apart during non use being stored inside. I contacted support, since this was still in warranty. They direct me to a link on Amazon for Marine Sealant (https://www.amazon.com/3M-5200FC-Marine-Adhesive-Sealant/dp/B003E1ULRE/) and they will reimburse me. But without explanation of how they would reimburse, or how to apply the Glue, since this was a seam issue and not a puncture. Since I had multiple seam areas that were leaking so I told them this was likely not a good solution. they then directed me to bring it to a surf shop. Closest is over 2 hours away. Seems like they are giving a run around, where I will have to pay to repair the board because their glue or seam are bad, and did not want to honor their warranty. As I do not trust them to reimburse after I pay to get it fixed myself. Part of the reason is why make me buy the glue myself, rather than ship me the glue they recommended the first time. SUPER FISHY

I selected this option after reviewing many different board types, models and manufacturers. As a preface I am not overly agile and weigh 250 lbs. I had horrible thoughts of inflatables being unsturdy and that it would fold flat in my first attempt to use.... but that is far from the truth!!!! This is solid! I am very glad I ended up getting an inflatable instead of a solid board. This comes with what I thought was the best accessory assortment as well. The travel backpack.... is huge.... I do not see myself ever actually using that. The hand pump works well, yes it will take you a long, time to air it up that first time and to get it "full enough". You can Macgyver a way to use an air compressor so long as you keep an eye on the pressure. The chair/backrest is fantastic (remember 250 lbs) I was worried about my weight being held there or that too much pressure would be on those little D rings, but nope, works great, folds flat enough to not be in the way if you change from sitting to standing. I was concerned that I would not be able to sit straddle style as this is a wider board than the one I tried renting, (I am also short, 5 foot 5) but it works fine and I had no issues. ---- Since my first season I have gotten a few additional accessories: A portable electric air compressor, a leash to help tether multiple paddlers together when resting, and a netting pouch for storage. ---- Some things to keep in mind if you are a first time paddler, watch youtube videos on how to smoothly transition from sitting to standing, contact your local sportings goods shop and see if you can RENT one to try before you buy, consider how you will transport this large beast to the body of water, and know that most places require a life jacket (where i live i do not have to have it on me, but i have it with me?). This is a great hobby I have already enjoyed so much! Looking forward to my second season!
