HD shop stool was what I was looking for. Have an older one with the cylinder is frozen in the low position. Cushion is comfortable for me and wheels give it the mobility and stability I wanted. Easy assembly of 2 parts (cylinder and seat) without needing to secure in place. Good buy for the price.

Just received it yesterday. Solid construction and good quality. Seat has reasonable amount of foam/cushion. It is comfortable. As others have said, the legs don't perfectly sit even on floor. This stool exceeded my expectation in many ways. The price is quite reasonable for the quality especially compared to other stools I considered. It was shipped and arrived very quickly. The packaging was first rate and provided maximum protection to the product. There was no need for assembly instructions as it consists of 3 pieces: the base, a cylinder that easily slips into the base and the padded seat that slips onto the cylinder. It took about 30 seconds to assemble the 3 pieces with no tools required. The stool has a nice range of heights, is easy to operate and is quite comfortable.
