So I took a chance on this Cage, because it didn't list Sony A7II, as one of the models, But it was an average of $10-15 cheaper than other Cages that said they fit. But this fits perfectly! All the doors, buttons and compartments are accessible. I'm used to larger Video cameras that have the flash/cold shoes, for monitors, mics, and handle/grip.... So the cold shoe, and the Cheese plate design really helps to attach other accessories. Well made!! Good finish!! Great price!! And Great cage to simply protect your Sony A7II camera as well! I'm using this on a copy stand where the camera is mounted away from the operator. now I can use the cameras screen and easily located all the menus and dials.
