I really wanted to buy organic cotton pillowcases, because cotton is one of the most (if not the most) polluted crops. These pillowcases are nice and I appreciate the zipper. They are a little stiff upon receipt, but I suspect they will become much softer after a few washes. Make sure you choose your measurements wisely because these are too big for my queen-size pillows, but too small for my king-size pillows. My dog really liked the pillowcase and incidentally, it fits her cushion perfectly so I may end up gifting it to her. Cute button on the pillow cover. I love that they are fair trade certified! If they fit your pillows, get them.

The fabric of these cases is nice and soft, and after washing once (on hot/high, despite the care instructions) it's already started to soften up more. All good. The weave is tight, and the fabric clearly high quality. The case construction is unusual - first because there is a zipper, which I usually only expect to see on a sham, and second because the zipper is right on the end, without a flap over it, which I usually expect to see on an allergy encasement under the regular case. There is no tuck-tab for the zipper pull. I have a memory foam anti-snore pillow that doesn't really work with regular pillowcases (too thick, too rigid), and these work very well with that, so all good. I do wish there were a flap covering the zipper. The cases come in a cloth bag with a button closure, which is just the right size to pack a pair of flip flops in my luggage (I wear a size 7, YMMV). Unfortunately there is a plastic bag over that cloth bag, so this is not a plastic-free item.

I cannot say enough good things about the discreet "short side" and "long side" tags tucked into the seams of this fitted sheet! This saves me so much time and hassle each time I'm changing my sheets. I wish all sheets had this feature. The A1HC 100% Organic Cotton Fitted Sheet sheet is very smooth and feels great under my skin. I love the fact that it's both organic and fair trade certified. The sateen weave is a bit shiny and does feel like a step up from "regular" cotton sheets. It was less wrinkly after being washed than my other sheets and fits my deep pocket queen mattress well. My only disappointment was I received a light blue even though I ordered the white color. Other than that, I'm totally happy with this one!

I bought these to add a pop of solid color to my otherwise bright and busy bedspread. They arrive a bit wrinkled, but a quick wash and dry helped. The fabric itself is somewhat prone to wrinkling, but more like a cotton sheet than a linen material. The folds overlap quite a bit, so there is no pillow bulging out the back. This color is very creamy and more yellow than tan as far as ivory goes. I'm very pleased. It's exactly what I was looking for.

I always preferred cotton over microfiber. This time i even had a direct comparison after sleeping on a microfiber bedsheet and then switching to this one. It is a day and night experience. The microfiber is warmer and for me personally too warm for a good night rest. This cotton one has a light cooling effect but without making me cold - it is just refreshing and warms up quickly to the body temperature. I also prefer the smoothness of the cotton over the smoothness of the microfiber. It feels more luxury and more valuable. It is a great bed sheet! I would buy it again!

These are a beautiful pillowcase set and the feel is very good on the sensory comfort level. They are "bright" white to me, very clean-looking from the first wash with a little bleach. I look forward to using these with my new set of down pillows, because these should help keep everything much more fresh and clean on a regular basis. I really don't need the included button-closure cloth storage or carrying bag, but some people might like that as a symbol of a higher-end extra. The country of origin is India and the quality is very good.
